In Remembrance of Marie Kirksey-Yarger 11/15/1977 - 4/29/2007. I love you sis!
***COLOR IS EXPRESSIVE BUT BLACK AND WHITE IS ETERNAL***
I'm just an ordinary guy who's in love with my wife of 16 years. I love to spend time with my family and like to shoot pictures during our travel and new experiences. I'm trying to figure out a niche with my photography because it seems as though everyone shoots landscape and wildlife - and I'm guilty too. I shoot all kinds of stuff but the subject matter that appeals to me most is anything cheeky nostalgic Americana, like Route 66 or old Coke signs. Maybe just because I'm a nostalgic American and I love that stuff.
Of course I've found that I also love to shoot rock bands. Most recently I've been shooting a few hundred frames for my friends in Polaradio. Check out the band
here. Check out the pictures on my albums.
On a somber note, I lost my sister Marie in 2007 and I miss her so much. She left behind a husband and 3 daughters and I ask for your continued prayers for them. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, let perpetual light shine upon her, may she rest in peace, Amen.
My family and I live in Colorado Springs which is God's country. At 7,500 feet, it can be tough to breathe sometimes but we love it nevertheless. After 20 years in blistering Phoenix, and 15 in the wet Pacific Northwest, we finally found a happy medium in Colorado.
