A Journey of Loss (2006)
An article to help guide those who have lost a child due to miscarriage. I have been through it and discovered that there isn't a lot of help. I think maybe people know there is nothing they can say to make it better...so they say nothing. I have poured my heart into this in hopes that those who read it who have experienced it know they are not alone.

About Heather Sargent
Being the luckiest woman in the world, I have 4 beautiful children and a husband who is not only my best friend, but my hero.

I have always written various things for personal pleasure and as a way of figuring out the world around me. Within the last few years I have decided to spread my wings a bit so to speak to see what I can do.

My first publishing credit was in the FaithWriters Magazine in January 2006. I have done various ad copy projects for work. I like to write poetry mostly for myself, but I am delving into other areas to see where it takes me. I would love to meet other people on the same journey.

Hey guys! I just need a little prayer to get back into the game. The desire is there, unanswered questions and all, but there always seems to be something that comes up every Sunday with the baby. Thinking maybe we should catch some evening servic... (login or sign up to read more)

Where is God??   2/27/2007 - 11:15 AM
Ok, harsh question, I know. But it's honest. This last year with all the drama, I have been wondering that. Now, we found out yesterday that the housing voucher we have been on the list for for 3 years is no longer available to us due to lack of f... (login or sign up to read more)

Time to reopen old wounds...   2/22/2007 - 1:51 AM
Ok, I have been trying to write a query letter for my article, 'A Journey of Loss' about miscarriage. It was previously published at the Faithwriter's website, but I want to submit it to a print magazine. I hadn't figured out until tonight why ... (login or sign up to read more)

Welcome baby Riley!!   2/19/2007 - 10:01 PM
Thanks for the prayers, my cousin delivered a happy, healthy baby boy! They are still watching her blood pressure and his heart rate dropped a few times, but it seems that mom and baby are both doing well now that the delivery is done. Thanks again... (login or sign up to read more)
