About Keith Wallis
I am a husband a father and grandfather. I was called "wordsculptor" by a colleague thirty years ago and the name just stuck. As poets have a natural penchant for poverty my occupation is enginering design - mainly automating mind-numbing assembly procedures. I see poetry as my 'gifting' and work hard to keep it in shape. I hate describing myself and fall miserably into the abyss between crowing and hiding when having to write a 'profile'. Relaxation comes via dabbling in artwork and photomanipulation.
I've had some success as a poet and am currently a moderator at ChristianWriters.com. My particular interest is the use of the language of poetry within a worship environment - my church is getting used to being 'experimented' on when I lead services !
I have a blog that encorporates some of my work.

Sometimes as shepherds   12/04/2008 - 2:53 AM
Sometimes as shepherds. Sometimes as shepherds afraid, grimy, ashamed of our shabbiness we approach the manger-cross. Sometimes as kings, haughty, self-assured confident of our position we approach the manger-cross. Sometimes as shephe... (login or sign up to read more)

Remembrance Sunday 2009   11/12/2008 - 2:47 AM
Remembrance Sunday 2009 And I could cry a million tears, and poppies fall like rain, if all the death and sacrifice had only been in vain. Ninety years have passed and gone since that first hopeful day but fear and fighting still survive ... (login or sign up to read more)
