Michaela's first love is music. Since childhood, she has sung Classical, Gospel, Contemporary Christian, Jazz, and Folk in choirs, ensembles and as solos. She attributes much of her love for music to her parents' eclectic record collection and her Aunt G's desire to teach Michaela and her older sister to harmonize on hymns.

An international traveller since age 4, Michaela has performed in Liberia, France, and across the United States and Canada. With an alto/tenor range, her voice often surprises first-time listeners and has been referred to as "soothing" and "a pleasure to hear." Knowing that singing is indeed not only her passion but her calling, Michaela has recently begun m3ministry. Its three-fold nature combines music, spoken word and workshops, allowing Michaela to express herself as singer, writer, and teacher.
