Reaching Out (2006)
Wisdom's Call released their debut CD in October of 2006. The CD has 10 original songs, including the ballad "I Do" that has received radio airplay.
Wisdoms Call is looking for a drummer. With the old drummer John Helton leaving the band, we now have a drummer filling in for us until we find a full time member. We are also looking for a bass player. Pete will be moving to guitar while remaining on lead vocals. Wisdom's Call was formed on June 17th, 2006. At that time, the band began working on a couple of originals and cover tunes to "get started," but it wasn't long until that they decided to just work on all original music.
Just 5 weeks after the band was formed, on July 29th 2006, Wisdom's Call entered the studio to begin recording their debut CD, "Reaching Out." The CD consists of 10 original songs.
Following is a brief timeline for Wisdom's Call
June 17, 2006 - The band rehearses for the first time.
July 29, 2006 - The band enters the studio to begin recording "Reaching Out."
October 14, 2006 - The CD is released and the band performs for the first time.
December 1, 2006 - Wisdom's Call opens for DecembeRadio.
December 31, 2006 - The band headlines a New Year's Eve show of 15 acts.
February 5, 2007 - The band accepts invitation to play Cornerstone
March 30, 2007 - The band officially signs with Soul Joy Records.

WOW! bro you've had more going on than a little bit. I'm sorry to hear that John left the band. So I take it you'll be focusing more on singing since your looking for a bass player. Well I wish you Godspeed in your search for a drummer and bass player. Please let me know when you find out about the CD release.
