Standing By is a Southern Gospel trio residing in Spencer, Indiana. The desire is to sing the praises of our Savior, Jesus Christ and to evangelize wherever we are called to share. Standing By is comprised of Dave Miller, vocalist and bass guitarist, who brings a creativity and balance to our music that sets us apart; Bruce Yates, vocalist who also has 23 years experience as music minister, associate pastor and pastor of the church of the Nazarene and rounding out our group is Bruce's wife, Lynn, who plays keyboard wonderfully for us and does a fantastic job assisting us with a critical ear to "fine tune" our sound.
Standing By is Southern Gospel in style and sings with a duet sound accompanied by piano and bass guitar. We also offer evangelistic preaching or pulpit supply for revivals and pastoral vacation or vacancy. Our vision is to develope our ministry base and spread the gospel wherever we are chosen to go, to God's glory!
