General Interests
Studying history, Meeting interesting people who are not plastic but real, worldwide travel, photography, loving my kidlets, homeschooling my kids, reading, spending time with my family and the loves of my life - Mike, Kayleigh and Andrew. Acknowledging and appreciating the blessings of my family, my church family and my friends in my life in significant and tangible ways.
Music
Like just about all of it. Love anything that I can sing from the soul. A great evening is just singing and harmonizing with friends.
Books
I read lots of fiction as I write and edit mostly for non-fiction and it is hard to distance yourself from work and just ENJOY the book if you are editing it.
Movies/TV
I love watching movies. I'm waiting to see a movie that is really worthy of becoming one of my "re-watchers" - like Shawshank Redemption, Matrix, Star Wars, I-Robot, Independence Day and more. I am a since the first season LOST watcher.

About Wendy Stewart Hamilton

..

I love people.  The more varied they are the better in my book.  I invite you to take a look at my Friends.  Each one is special to me for a reason.  Each one is different from me and it is our differences and similarities that unite us.

I love friends.  I have some awesome friends in my life!  .  I pray for my friends.  I figure that is the best way for me to be a friend to each of them.  I am fairly transparent about my life and open to new ideas.  I believe that God did not design us limited but limitless.   We are, after all, created in HIS image and each of us hold a unique reflection of God.

I am an outgoing gal who loves having fun, worldwide travel and doing new things.
I am a Choleric-Sanguine blend with a few smidgens of Melancholy traits.
I love working hard and getting lots of things done. I consider each day a new challenge to do more, learn more and be more.

I am by profession a ghostwriter, a graphic design artist and ministry leader. I love owning and operating a half dozen companies and businesses and love working with a variety of people to do awesome things daily. I absolutely adore writing copy (all of the stuff you read in advertising). I am a global ghostwriter who under the cover of a client's name will use my writing talents to bring their dreams to market. I have worked for NY Times Bestsellers and more!

I have a passion for music and enjoy joining in and harmonizing
with just about anyone.  My tastes in music vary but I love to sing anything that has soul and a great message.

This has been an awesome few years for me and I have had the opportunity to be a co-author and/or a contributing author of over twelve books.

I absolutely love to edit.  Although I never seem to catch my own typos, I can spot them in time to help others.

I am learning Mandarin Chinese with my daughter Kayleigh and plan on spending sometime in China at some point in the next decade.

I have a passion for moms and my direct ministry is to them.

Seeking the Compliment vs. the Complement   9/30/2007 - 6:15 AM
A few years ago I learned a valuable lesson about who I am. It happened in an amazing and unusual place under the unlikely teacher of a writer's critique. The lady teaching the lesson, Gwinn, had no idea how important her tips would become not... (login or sign up to read more)

The Thankless Job of Building Relationships...   9/25/2007 - 5:50 AM
Being a mom has taught me more about depending on God and looking to Him for reassurance of who I am and my place on this earth than any other role.   Being a stepmom has taught me more about depending on God for my identity than being a mom.... (login or sign up to read more)

When Old Wives' Tales are 50/50   9/17/2007 - 11:21 AM
This past week has been a roller coaster as our family has stood with friends with no words, no actions and no sense of control over an uncontrollable situation that resulted in one of my best friends losing her baby. The sadness at the loss of a ch... (login or sign up to read more)

Weary...   9/16/2007 - 2:45 AM
It is amazing how recently my mind seems to be wrapping around the most intricate of thoughts and then all of that is blocked by a bone-weariness and disappears. I am up at 2 am and I couldn't sleep. My mind is weighted and my heart is heavy...... (login or sign up to read more)
