Women are busy, fearful, and questioning God - just to name a few. In 'Seeing Through the Lies', Vonda Skelton addresses the core issues at the root of the problems most women face and?after speaking to numerous women's groups herself?Vonda knows how to write in a way that connects to the female reader. This is not a doctrinal treatise, nor a psychological tome. It is fresh, real and delightful reading that is enjoyable and enlightening!" ~ Florence Littauer, Founder, TheCLASSeminar, speaker and author of "Silver Boxes" and "Personality Plus"
"With delightful humor and keen insight Vonda shares her experiences and helps us see through the deceptions in our own lives. Ha, I found you via Kathy Ide. I miss talking with you, but things are sooo busy. I haven't sought old friends in this venue of shoutlife because of time constraints, but I had to do something about seeing your face here and connect with you.
I am attending a church planters session at the SBC in Indianapolis. God is working big time. I'm like a country girl in a big city candy store. Too many good choices. What is a girl to do?
I did watch Solomon's Beloved. I loved it! I sent it to my mom and her best friend, Sandy. They're both pastors and absolute characters. I'm sure you'd all hit it off from the first "Hello!". I was reading a little on your site about growing up, thinking there were only certain options for little girls career-wise. I'm so happy for you that you're doing what you love now. What an inspiration to others to live out their dreams too.
Would you be interested in joining a Christian Cruisers Club Cruise to the Eastern Caribbean? I would love to have you teach your humorous lesson! I know the group members would love it. Also, maybe you could lead a prayer meeting? I can not really pay, but I can offer a free cruise!
