Bent But Not Broken (2009)
You May Be Down, But You're Never Defeated

Just as a fruit tree branch is heavy, when laden with fruit; so too are our lives sometimes heavy with problems. We sometimes bend under the pressures and strains that life brings us. We get depressed. We lack self-confidence. We don't trust people. We say that we can't take it anymore. We need a solution to our dilemma.

When things like this happen to us it's good to know that someone else has gone through the same or similar situations as you have; and that they have made it through. You too should be able to identify with this book and make it through life's journeys. You are not alone. You can make it with confidence. You can move your mountain that have kept you back. You can be an over-comer through Christ Jesus, the deliverer of all our problems. Learn how to stand tall like the majestic French Maritime Evergreen Pine trees (pictured on the cover) that sway in the midst of any storm. Bent But Not Broken will help you to enjoy what God has for you despite what the circumstances may look like. "You will bend, but you won't break." It's like the old toy commercial, "Weebles wobble, but they don't fall down". We may be tossed to and fro in the wind, but with our feet firmly planted in Him; we won't fall down.

We are not to add to nor take away from God's Word, yet I do believe that He helps us today with inspiring words of wisdom from others. Those things that are written in this book are some of those inspired words; some of which are very funny. As you conclude this book, my prayer to God is for "Bent But Not Broken" to have eased some of your time through your 'valley' - don't fear. Be Blesses In Order To Be A Bigger Blessing

hey Ms V!! love what you wrote: 'we are teh throbbing pain in satan's evil heart.' AWESOME thought! and true, true.
you asked about shelters in my area that might benefit from cell phones: we have one but it is generally for women who are homeless or abused, whereas imo the abused are the ones that desperately need the phones. Also...i've had some dealings with this particular one and i am not impressed. they run a thrift store and some questionable stuff goes on there. i was going to partner with them to sell ebay things, but decided against it, for those reasons :(
But, i cannot thank you enough for your generous offer! i only wish i could use them. we do have a men's winter shelter here, if you wish to give them to a shelter in general, but as for a dom. violence shelter, i just couldnt in good conscience advocate this one. (small town here) But again TY and i wish you Godspeed in finding one that can benefit from your sweet offer. you're a beacon!! Happy Thanksgiving, and may you have too many blessings to count....carlynn

Have a beautiful day my treasured friend!

MAKE NO PROVISIONS FOR THE FLESH AND BE PREPARED TO SUFFER!!!

 A Perfect Rose

Want to live and move always in the glow of God's glory? How wonderful is that thought to a discouraged heart! Want to know Him and enjoy the relationship with Him that He tells us we can have? Are you willing to cast aside all that will hinder you in your quest to know and experience Him in the fullness of your salvation? Then you must be prepared to suffer. This is a given!

To have, hold and enjoy the beauty and exquisiteness of the rose we must carefully pluck it from among the painful thorns, which are ever present to afflict us if we carelessly venture into their path. Christ is indeed the Rose (Rose of Sharon) above all roses. The Rose who was so bruised and crushed that He was unrecognizable as the perfect rose. The Rose from which the elixir of Heaven (that is heavens cure for all that ails humankind) pours forth into the lives of His chosen and adored children. Not in His supernatural capacity as God did He suffer. But in His capacity as a human man who trust and depends solely on the word and directions of God the Father. And through His suffering the miraculous substance of His untarnished blood has made available to those who believe the keys to heaven and the treasures of God's kingdom. Our salvation is free but the cost of being able to walk in the righteousness that Jesus blood purchased for us is not. We must put off the old man who we were and put on the new who we now are. We must put on Christ. What does it mean to put on the Lord Jesus? It doesn't mean that we can put Him on, and take him off as we do our clothing. Once we get dressed up in Him we are to stay that way intentionally. It means that we are to fill our minds with Christ's mind. our mouths with His words, No matter what it takes. We are to literally put on the very lifestyle of Christ. And allow no life situation whatsoever to entice us to take it off. We are to suit up in His love, allow His thoughts to be our thoughts, walk in our allotted righteousness, which has made us acceptable to God in Christ. And courageously go for the prize that God has set before us, which is the fulfillment of all His promises to us in this age and the one to come. See Romans 13:14: Galatians 3:27.

This requires much suffering. Dying to our old worldly ways is hard. Satan and his bumble bushes seething with thorns is scatter all along our way. Therefore, as Christ suffered for us in the flesh, we must suffered and die to the things of the flesh. Put on the mind of Christ and live according to the things of the Spirit. Hard?! Oh yeah! Painful?! certainly! You can count on it! But he who suffers in the flesh in order to live by the will of God ceases to sin according to 1 Peter 4:1-2, NKJV. Crucifying the flesh and coming alive to the life of Christ in you is the only road to victory over the evil one and the destruction he plans for your life. Crucifixion is a slow, painful death for sure. But this is the only way to take up our cross and follow sure footedly in the footsteps of our precious Lord. (Taking up our cross means taking up the same Spirit filled life that was active in Jesus.) And as the pangs of death to our flesh subside the joy of the Lord is experienced. And fountains of Holy Spirit fullness erupts, fills and flows from our hearts. This is the pathway that God has set before us. Be prepared to suffer along the way. But traveling with the mind of Christ totally active in us, we can be sure we are marching in victory. Where no weapon that satan can form against us will prosper, because God Himself will condemn him. See Isaiah 54:17.

See: Put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts. Romans 13:14. For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. Galatians 5:13: For the flesh lusts against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. Galatians 5:17. Copyright © Sylvia F. Liani 2009

God is a protecting wall of fire about us. But a consuming fire of the evil that seeks our destruction, which is as thorns, briers and stable before Him.

Sending some hugs your way to wish you a supernaturally God impacting day!

TRIUMPHANT SERVANTS

God proclaims victory for His people! Not over them by the opposing forces of evil! It is He who has delivered us out of bondage (slavery) to satan and his evil reign of terror and torment! He has qualified us (the Church) to be victorious partakers of the inheritance of Christ. Colossians 1:12. We are the heirs OF GOD THE FATHER, joint-heirs with Jesus! Romans 8:17. Our elder brother! God created us to rule not to summit ourselves as slaves in the camp of His enemy! Our exodus event out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light was accomplished by a divine assortment of miracles! And miracles are intended to continue to accompany those who walk in loyalty to our Father. He has seated us in heavenly places to rule over, not to be ruled by the acts of the enemy! Imagine seated even now spiritually on the throne with Christ at the right hand of the Father. And instilled with the same power that fills Christ! The same power that raised Jesus has raised us up to rule over evil on earth as He did. See Luke 10:19; Ephesians 1:20, 2:6; Hebrews 8:1. Mutual love and desire between God and His redeemed saints is the key that turns the lock of heavens vaults. 1 John 1:7, 4:17; Matthew 16:19. Think about this, if you don't love God's ways on earth, why would you love them in the world to come?! If you love being with Him where He is, holiness is required. If you don't delight in holy living now how could you be happy in a place that is entirely holy?! We cannot practice satan's ways and receive God's miraculous results over the torment that accompanies them. We are the means by which God has chosen to exhibit His holiness and power in the earth. Our transfer out of bondage to satan brought us into a kingdom flowing with the richness of heavens bounty! Because of Israel's disloyalty to God and His plan they could never maintain the flow of milk and honey that they were promised. Let us not think that our disloyalty is any more pleasing and profitable then theirs in receiving the promises of God. Let us remember that we are redeemed so that we may be humble, triumphant, willing bondservants to our Holy Father just as Jesus was. See Philippians 2:7.

May God turn all of your mistakes into miracles! May others never fail to see that the oneness they see in you with Him is the avenue that will change their lives as well!

STOPPING IN TO SAY HELLO, wish you a beautiful evening and a grand weekend.

Don't you just love how God takes our muddled messes and works them for our good?

God assures you, His child, therefore; we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28. Relax, be at peace you can never work your way into God's best. If you are in Christ you have already received the promise of His best in your life. The just requirement of the law has been fulfilled in us who do not run our lives according to what our old nature wants but according to what the Spirit wants. See Romans 8:4

Even if you are suffering horrific disappointment, being atrociously treated, bombarded on every side with seemingly impossible situations. Relax and trust that God will somehow work in your circumstances to fulfill His good purpose in your life. God's guarantee to you is that ultimately good results will come forth! TRUST HIM! And never, never depend on your own understanding.

bible verse Pictures, Images and Photos

Why is this so?! How can this possibly be? It is so because: There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1. Our flesh may make bad decisions and decide to roll in the mud of evil deception from time to time. By plucking fruit from the tree of evil self-reliance you can mess up. But your spirit remains untarnished. Because you are now in Christ you are righteous. You can't get any more righteous than you are now. And the law of God has already been fulfilled in your life. He is satisfied. It was by faith alone that you enter into this new life. This new life, in which God's Spirit abides in you, makes all things possible for you. And it is by faith alone that you can receive the benefits promised to those who walk in this truth. Copyright Sylvia F. Liani 2009

Hi Ms. "V". I saw your photo on someone's page, (can't remember whose) and thought I'd say hi. It's nice to meet new people.

I am not a real big country and western fan. But that song got my attention. I have had those demons breathing fire down my back before. They are not real fond of God's children.

Hope you have a beautiful even my sweet friend.

Hi there! Yes that was the song I was speaking of. I had never heard it before. I think at some point in our lives we can all relate in some way. Hope your day is glowing with the Sonshine of God's promises. May God's intentions be realized in your life today and every day here after.

heart Pictures, Images and Photos

God has made clear His purpose and goal for your life. Because He wants each of His children to understand and accept that His plan is to bring them into the full likeness of Jesus. He wants them to comprehend that He forgives their sins and wraps them in rich robes of righteousness. He wants them to practice being holy as He is holy. Holiness is not a thing beyond your reach it is a commitment to live exclusively for God, His glory, and His kingdom just as Jesus did. Depending not on your intellect, earthly clout, and charismatic charm; But upon God's promises and His Holy Spirit to accomplish the things God has called you to do. He wants you to practice being as Jesus is. He knows you will stumble and maybe often. But He knows above all your stumbling that He intends to bring His people into the fullness of all His promises. Courageously step into the river of God's Spirit, drinking deeply as you go; allowing rivers of living water to flow out of your heart. See John 7:38 So that the world around you is touch, lives changed and multitudes swept into the Kingdom of our God. This was not unique to the early church and the Apostles. This is YOUR assignment. God intends to bring you into the abundant life that He has always promised to His people. And at the same time use you as the vessel through which He changes the lives of others.

Sending love and big encouraging hugs your way!
