More Than Machines
The goal of the United in Him festival is to unite area churches, vendors, youth bands, etc. all in a celebration praising Jesus.
United In Him, founded in 2007 by Indieheaven.com member Debbie Rice, started as a small event to host Debbie's band, Faith:REFINED, and a couple of other Indieheaven.com artists. Indieheaven.com is an online community of Independent Christain Artists that support each other and help each other in their mission to make music that glorifies God and brings His message to the World.
Finding a local venue that would host at least 3 Christian bands as part of a mini-Texas tour put on by Texan Indieheaven members proved problematic. There just simply wasn't anywhere big enough in the area for the bands to play. God laid it on Debbie's heart to do this in a big way, and the ideal for an annual festival was born.
