2011 Urban Inspirational Award winner for "Best Rock Band", True Witness is an Atlanta, Georgia, USA based Rock Band. The band has also received nominations from the 2011 Gospel Choice Awards as well as a 2010 Grammy nomination by (NARAS) National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences for Best Rock Performance by a duo or group with vocals. Their passion is to inspire lives through music and lyrics and be identified as a band for the people dynamically relating to all age ranges on and off the stage. Their artistic contemporary rock sound merges a high-energy blend of acoustic and electric rock with thought provoking lyrics. A "must see" live show that captures an upbeat musical style uniquely unfolding life's struggles and offering plain solutions of hope in tough times. True Witness provides a melodic, distinguished declaration of strength, faith and love to everyone surviving the struggles and challenges of each day.

True Witness originated as an acoustic band in 2002 with Tom Bowen, Tim and Dan Adams. The high-spirited band enhanced their depth of inspirational, positive rock music by evolving into a significant touring rock band since 2007 performing throughout the Northeast, Mid Atlantic and New England. Throughout the years and all their tour experiences, the rock band became very diversified, performing in coffee houses, famed bars and clubs, (Ace of Clubs NYC, Delancey NYC, Sullivan Hall, NYC), (Museum Bar, Atlanta, Ga), as well as large premiere Performing Arts Centers (Caesar's Palace Circus Maximus, Atlantic City, NJ, Lycian Centre, Sugar Loaf, NY) and outdoor festivals (SoulFest in NH, KingsFest in Va, Unicity Festival in Md, BeachFest, NJ, Cherry Blossom Festival in DC, Utica Music Fest in NY). True Witness performed at the famous Rocket Town in Nashville, TN, Olympic Centennial Park, Atlanta, Ga, and Atlantic Station, Atlanta, Ga. They have also performed at many large conferences and amusement parks such as Millinneum Music Conference, Pa, Cape May Singer Songwriter, NJ, Six Flags in Jackson, NJ and Six Flags in Lake George, NY. They headlined Rochester Fairgrounds in New Hampshire on July 4th two years in a row, and True Witness was recognized as a Notable Winner in New York City's premiere MEANY festival 2009. True Witness has traveled and performed at many venues, meeting some amazing people, experiencing and sharing music with some great bands, and going where the music takes them.

On October 28th, 2011, True Witness released their 3rd CD, "Send Me" in Atlanta, Georgia and have returned back on tour. The band will continue to reach out and impact the hearts of people everywhere with imaginative songs echoing life, truth, and love. The band has released two prior CD albums, Once In Time (2008) and Origins (2007).

Over the past 4 years, the band built a considerable fan base in the Northeast, New England, Ohio River Region and the Southeast, while regionally touring. In March 2011, True Witness relocated from New York to Atlanta, Georgia and the band is extremely energized to increase their fan base by reaching out and extending their tours across the south and the nation.
