TobyMac ranks among the most successful artists in the history of Christian music in terms of radio success, sales power and critical acclaim. He is also universally recognized as a creative force, an artistic maverick and a prophetic voice for racial reconciliation, social justice and a fierce devotion to faith and family. Stated simply, he continues to master the art of multi-tasking as he puts the finishing touches on his next album.

His solo career took off from the first notes, from GOLD albums to Number One singles, to GRAMMY nominations and widespread critical acclaim. Christianity Today called him "one of the fifty most influential evangelical leaders in America." In 2008, he took home the GMA Dove Award for Artist of the Year as well as the GRAMMY for Best Rock Or Rap Gospel Album with his live DVD/CD Alive and Transported. However, the artist, producer, songwriter, industry leader and father of five is not the slightest bit interested in playing it safe.

Each project brings with it an increased commitment to melody and soulful singing while maintaining his now trademarked rock/funk/hip-hop side. In August 2009, his audience will get a taste of new music with the single "City On Our Knees," another chapter in his quest towards a Diverse City. In November, his Winter Wonder Slam tour will travel from New York to L.A. for its fifth incarnation - this time with supporting artists Relient K, Stephanie Smith and B. Reith.

TONIGHT - his fourth solo studio album - is slated to release February 9th.
