About Tiffany Colter
Hi, I'm Tiffany Colter. I'm the mom of 4 great girls and one awesome hubby. I have an "accidental farm" which started out as a pet duck for my girls and transformed in 12 months to 4 ducks, 50 hens [egg layers], 3 dogs, an assortment of cats running around outside and a gold fish or two. I'm so glad you came over.

Despite all that I also am a writer, speaker and writing career coach. I give out lots of free info at these places below. Check them out or google "Writing Career Coach". You'll find me there.

What I love most about fiction is creating a world that no one knew existed and then taking people there. Having someone care about people I created. I enjoy working through their trials and seeing something good happen at the end.

Brainstorming: Who wants to get THAT??   7/03/2009 - 7:52 AM
Who is your target? That is what we'll talk about today. But you're not going to just sit back and think about it, we're going to think outloud. Brainstorm really. Here is the scenario: Say you have a contemporary thriller where a teenage gi... (login or sign up to read more)

Leaving the information age   7/02/2009 - 7:26 AM
We are moving from the information age to the recommendation age. We are so inundated with information that it can be overwhelming. I recently googled my name and found 49,600 items returned. Of course, not all of them were me but many were. Wi... (login or sign up to read more)

NaNo Lessons   7/01/2009 - 6:56 AM
This year I again participated in NaNo [National Novel Writing Month] and again I did not "win" by finishing a 50K novel in 1 month. What is funny is twice I've written books of more than 60K in under a month. It seems something about the deadline an... (login or sign up to read more)
