A self-taught guitarist, Theron began playing at age 11, and he hasn't been able to put it down since.

Theron accepted Christ at age 9, but it wouldn't be until January 25, 2000, that Theron completely surrendered his life to the Lord. After years of struggling with alcoholism and addiction, Theron made a decision to let God be Lord of his life; to let Him have control. Since that time, God has used Theron's testimony to touch the lives of thousands of youth and adults. Through music, Theron has shared his story, the story of mercy and forgiveness. He wants everyone to know that perfect love that comes only from Jesus Christ. Theron has lead worship at various events throughout the southern part of the United States. Most recently, Theron has been writing and recording his original songs.

Theron's desire is simply to do what God built him to do. He knows beyond a shadow of a doubt the Lord built him to play, and now he desires to play his music and tell his story.

Theron and his wife, Lindsay, married in August of 2005. They live in Dexter, Missouri with their cat Boots, and yellow Lab Sadie.
