THE QUICKS - Hymns was produced by group members Sally Quick and Rebecca Quick. What Are You Waiting For! (2004)
"What Are You Waiting For!" was the second album recorded by The Quicks and the last one to include oldest daughter, Rachel. "What Are You Waiting For" was a glimpse into the beginning of the new sound of The Quicks. With intricate harmonies from this talented family and original songs from the pen of "Mom" Sally, this exciting album includes the classic, "When the Saints Go Marching In," complete with horns, banjo, and the kitchen sink! "He Can Move the Water" sung by Tim was the first radio single, which made the Singing News National Chart. Followed by the release of the ballad, "Now I Know," The Quicks experienced their first Top 40 with "It's a Sure Thing," written and sung by Sally.

Something Old Something New was the first album recorded by The Quicks. This CD was begun immediately after The Quicks moved to Nashville after Tim's retirement from the Air Force. Many songs were ones the family had already been singing such as the convention song, "Hallelujah, I'm Going Home" and the more pop sounding "He Knows How," sung by oldest daughter, Rachel. Sally wrote a special song for Tim's retirement called "The Uniform." Crowds are really moved every time Tim sings it. Other stage favorites are Rebecca's version of the original "Following His Lead" and the power ballad featuring Sally called "Behold the Land."

This vintage modern style in their music and presentation merges to share the incredible love of Christ through what they sing and what they have lived.
Tim and Sally founded The Quicks Ministries, along with their daughters Rachel and Rebecca, in 1999 at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. For over twenty-two years, Tim and Sally have continued to pursue reaching the world with the gospel through live performances, television appearances, and radio, with a successful charting history from their contributions to radio. Tim and Sally are now joined by their daughter Rebecca.
After Tim retired from the Air Force in 2002, the family moved to Tennessee and began their professional recording career in Nashville. The Quicks' first CD, the traditionally Southern Gospel Something Old, Something New, and the adventurous follow up project, What are You Waiting For! established the foundation for the unique harmonies that would become the "Quick" Style.
In 2006, the quartet narrowed to a trio after the marriage of the oldest Quick daughter Rachel but continued their mission with their third national recording, The Word is Out. This album propelled the trio to another level of evangelism with a collection of songs that speak to both young and old alike. Their single "The Word is Out" was an online radio 2007 song of the year.
Released in the fall of 2010, The Quicks - Hymns, produced by group members Sally Quick and Rebecca Quick, was a labor of love taking over two years to complete. After the unexpected loss of Tim and Sally's first grandchild in October 2009, the family considered closing down the ministry as they reeled from the weight of the grief. Tim, Sally, and Rebecca decided to finish the hymns as a final farewell. Through the course of the recording process, they felt God's love and sufficient grace carrying them through a progressive healing time. As God continued to do what He does best, the family not only found the strength to continue, but a new passion sparked in each of their hearts that is now an unquenchable resolve to sing and tell of His great love.
The musical blend of this group is mirrored by a closeness in their daily walk with the Lord and with each other. This is a hard-working family that functions as a unit, yet is still free to express their own unique personalities. Paul Heil of The Gospel Greats has described The Quicks as a "young energetic family with close harmony, commitment to God, and strong lyrics." Listeners will experience a fresh approach with original songs, gospel classics, and hymns of the church. With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn't hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn't gladly and freely do for us? And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God's chosen? Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us?who was raised to life for us!?is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ's love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture:
They kill us in cold blood because they hate you.
We're sitting ducks; they pick us off one by one.
None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I'm absolutely convinced that nothing?nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable?absolutely nothing can get between us and God's love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.
