2007 - the Year in Review.....
Scott and Tara met 15 years ago through a musician's ad in the LA Recycler, and married 12 years ago. When asked how they met, it's always "the Recycler". (Yah, God uses that paper too!) Scott is from Drexel, NC, and moved to Hollywood to attend and graduate from GIT. Tara grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii. They met in Hollywood and began playing cover songs in coffee houses, as well as Hollywood clubs with the "long- hair" rock band, "Charlemagne", Scott founded. Their relationship with Christ and each other grew, and songs of struggles, hope, wonder and love for God began to surface. Tara sings and writes the lyrics (and sometimes the melodies) for the songs, while Scott plays guitar and bass, harmonizes and produces their stuff - he's the "tune-smith". They are currently working on their debut CD - a long, drawn-out labor of love! They have a 6 year old daughter, Selah - their pure joy. They are looking forward to making more music, learning and growing in their craft, and pray they make a positive impact for His Kingdom along the way.
Also, they have discovered that "Laughing on a regular basis is required".
Scott and Tara openly share their testimonies and music at marriage retreats, churches, MOPS events, as well as small group bible studies. Tara especially has a heart for women struggling with their identity in Christ, and openly shares her journey of the pain and problems she faced as a result of rebelling against God and making bad decisions in the search for her identity and happiness. She also shares the joy, peace and contentment she has found as she continues to discover her true identity in Christ. Also, one of their passions is to see and help facilitate believing artists gain a true sense of community and sincere bond as they share the desire to use their unique gifts for His purposes.
"As believers, we are all in this together, whatever the calling/talent/gift/ability is. While the world tends to bring people down, we can hold and lift eachother up. It's all about bringing attention to Him, His truth, His love, goodness and greatness. It's about each of us finding and thriving in our part of 'God's Gig', whatever that may be. It's all about serving people and and being there for them, wherever they are at.
It's all about loving. Together, as fellow artists, believers, and Children of God, we can do something beautiful and eternally meaningful, and encourage and inspire eachother along the way!"
God Sings
When we love one another with grace He gives
When we search for wisdom in the Word that lives
When we pray with faith, for the smallest of things
God Sings
When our calm, joyful spirit shines from within
When we send up our love through a meaningful hymn
When we tell others of the greatness He brings
God Sings
When we sit still to ponder just who He is
When we give back to Him all that is His
When we reach out to share His promises
God Sings
When we race for the prize, just for His sake
When we joyfully serve, with all that it takes
When we see the goodness in all that He's made
God Sings
When we seek out His plan, then follow His lead
When we care for people and what they may need
When we read His word and the memory clings...
God Sings
We we turn back to Him, whenever we fall
When we chose His hope, in spite of it all
When we trust His son Jesus, the King of Kings
God Sings

Our Pastor, Matt Tullos, who uses humor to make points....This Video is titled "What NOT to do in Sunday School Class"...
Kind of a "the Office" vibe except with church/pastor/people issues, this Pastor is on-fire for Jesus and God's people, and sometimes he uses drama/sketches/humor to communicate. He's a very gifted, talented teacher and communicator and very funny...we love him! Enjoy!
Check out this awesome video of a mime done by Taira (one of my top friend's - Jackie's daughter) to the song "I can Only Imagine"..it is very moving....
