How would you like to have your birthday or anniversary announced on The Light? If you have a birthday or anniversary coming up, please e-mail it to us (plus birthday age or anniversary year if possible). Please include names and city you reside. Those received will be aired weekday mornings at 8 just before the start of the "No Repeat Weekday," and Kevin Spencer will sing either "Happy Birthday" or "Happy Anniversary!" Birthdays and anniversaries taking place on the weekend will be announced the Friday before.

MUSIC SUBMISSIONS: We get asked a lot about how to go about submitting music to us. Right now we are accepting MP3 (please no WMA or RA!) files for submission. Music MUST be southern gospel, bluegrass gospel or country gospel. Music submissions are not guaranteed airplay, but all submissions (as long as they fall under above genres) will be given consideration. E-mail mp3 files directly to The Light. Artists are also welcome to submit artist liners to the station.

The Light is an Internet radio station that plays southern gospel music, sprinkled with a little country and bluegrass gospel, and is intended as a ministry for those who hear. The station's target audience is for Atlanta and North Georgia, but we welcome friends from all over the world to hear the Good News through music. The Light's playlist is a unique one, in that we play not only current and past singles, but album tracks as well, and we play music from both national AND local artists, giving independent artists the chance to share the gospel through their music. It is important to us to play music that ministers to the people who hear it. Airplay considerations will also be based upon listener requests (e-mail) and various other factors. The Light also gives community announcements, plus other special features including the occasional interview. The Light is a Christian-operated radio station that is TOTALLY funded by the station owner.

Most churches and Christian-related businesses that would like to advertise on The Light are welcome to free of charge. However, we will have to make a determination as to whether or not your service or business is suitable for The Light.
