MISSION:
We believe that God has a ministry & mission unique to the city of Nashville (called "music City USA") because of its musical heritage & music industry. We believe that Nashville is called to be a city of creativity & worship and that it would, through its artistic expression & religious devotion, reach the outer parts of the world. As thousands of musicians, ministers, and artist have and are making Nashville their "home", our mission is to minister spiritually to those who God has called us to.
We seek to, in the midst of over 900 churches and the Christian music industry, to be a witness of God's love for his creation. We believe that God has a purpose and passion for all of the creative people who live in this beautiful city.

Church Comunity
Worship:
We long for the heart of true, uninhibited worship. Not just in song, but in every area of our lives. We desire to meet with the Spirit of God, leaving behind the mentality of performance and entertainment and moving forward to the secret place of passion in Jesus Christ. We believe worship to be a lifestyle. As we live out our daily lives we should be sending out a message of love and of who Christ is , glorifying Him in all we do.

Children's Ministry:
The purpose of the Children's ministry is to provide a safe and loving environment in which your child can learn and grow in Jesus Christ. Our goal is not to force God on your child; it is simply to show him or her the love of Christ as He has shown it to us. We will teach the basic principles and stories pertinent to God's true character in a way that is relevant and understandable. In the future we hope to establish more children's programs and outreaches to families in our community.

The Gatherings:
We believe that home groups (gatherings) form an essential part of our life as a church. We want these groups to provide prayer, teaching, worship and community during the week. Styles may vary from group to group, but the core beliefs of the Anchor are lived out. We want people to be in an environment where they can express what God is saying to them and experience God's Spirit impacting their lives in a more personal way.

The Ministries of Prayer:
Intercession, prayer ministry and prayer counseling are a big part of our ministry. The word intercession literally means "entreaty in favor of another". Being able to pray and intercede on someone's behalf can help that person when they don't have the strength to help themselves. We believe the prayer of a righteous man (or woman) is powerful and effective. (James 5:16) God can heal the sick and wounded. He can heal broken hearts and broken people. At the Anchor Fellowship we are allowing ourselves to be used by God himself, to speak and act on His behalf and we recognize that any answered prayers are only because of Jesus Christ and His great love for his creation.

Outreach
Bloodline Youth Community:
We are a community continuing the ministry of Jesus by proclamation & demonstration of the Kingdom of God. Our youth ministry's main focus is sharing the love of Christ with our youth right where they are. Our desire is to guide them in the direction that will bring about a full life in Christ. We feel the best way to connect is through personal relationship. We also provide a fun learning, loving environment.

Prevail Men's Ministry:
Prevail is a Men's Ministry sponsored by The Anchor Fellowship in Nashville. The group's focus is to eradicate those habits and issues that men face, and are often unwilling to admit. Addictions in our society have become rampant. Sexual scandal in our communities, workplaces, churches, and schools, have now become commonplace, involving those whom we as the public have placed our trust. Even worse, sometimes we experience shocking sexual discoveries within our own families and in the lives of those we know personally. Through God's power and the support of other men, you will be able to finally live the life of purity that God has called you to live. It is about breaking addictions to porn, masturbation, and out of control sin issues. It is about building a brotherhood of accountability. It is about honoring our wives, girlfriends, and all the wonderful women of this planet.

The Arts:
The Anchor is part of a very artistic and musical city. God has given us, as a church, artistic passions and creative hearts. These artistic talents are a great way to create community within the church as well as the city. We long to see art as a form of worship to God, but also recognize it as a creative outlet for non-Christians, and a way to reach out into the world around us. The Arts are just one of the ministries that are at the heart of who we are at the Anchor.

Homeless Outreach:
The Anchor does not have a large homeless ministry, but we do take sandwichs to the homeless every Saturday to let them know that they are loved and have not been forgotten. The purpose is to help us not to forget that God loves the Homeless and he wants to help us through serving the "least of these" in the kingdon of God.

Discipleship
The Anchor School of Ministry:
Our heart at the Anchor is to see individual's lives changed and healed for the sake of the Gospel. The Anchor School of Ministry is designed to help people enter into a deeper level of intimacy with God and learn practical skills to successfully engage in ministry. It is our goal, through the Anchor School of Ministry, to prepare and train individuals for a life of Christian service through: life-changing teaching, practical hands-on experience and community living. This 4-month course is a great first step into a life of ministry.
