At an early age I discovered the wonderful world of fiction and declared I would one day write a book. Now I'm fulfilling that dream and enjoy writing for Steepl Hill Love Inspired and Steeple Hill Love Inspired Suspense. My second book, A Sheltering Love was a 2006 RWA RITA Award Finalist and a 2005 National Reader's Choice Award Finalist. My third book, Strictly Confidential was a 2007 Book of the Year Award Finalist. I am an acitve member of Romance Writers of America, where I currently sit on the Board of Directors and American Christian Fiction Writers. I reside in the Pacific Northwest with my college sweet-heart husband, two wonderful children and two rambuncious dogs. When not writing, I enjoy gardening, jazzercise and my spending time with my family.

I've learned so much in the past few years about writing suspense. I've learned how to keep the tension high by ending scenes with cliffhangers, questions, and disasters. I've learned to up the pacing by being careful with how much introspection I ...

I'm done!! Book number ten is done. The first draft that is. Now comes the part I really like. The revising--per my critique partners suggestions. Sometimes I use their suggestions and sometimes not. But if they agree on something, then I pretty mu...

I'm finishing up my tenth book for Steeple Hill Books and then will move on to the eleventh and twelvth book. One would think by now I'd have the process down. But I don't. Each book presents challenges and I have to adapt to those challenges, whi...

For many years I didn't take very good care of myself. In part out of ignorance, I was a gymnast, a dancer and runner. I never thought about how the physical abuse to my body would play out later in life. As the years went by I had a myrid of ache...

Hello, Terri! I'm so looking forward to getting to know you better here at Shoutlife!
It's always a joy, meeting other authors, especially considering the solitary nature of our work. Looking forward to learning more about your career, too!
When you get a minute, pop over to my Shoutlife profile and my web site to see what God has me doing I traded my guitar for a computer.
I pray the week ahead will bring you good and wonderful things! And if anything weighs heavy on your heart, please let me join you in prayer, "for wherever two or more of us are gathered in His name." And isn't it comforting to know you needn't give me the details for our joined voices to deliver God's grace!
Eyes on Him,
(1 Corinthians 10:13)
