About Brothers Redeemed Qt. of Hickory, NC
Brothers Redeemed Quartet was formed in November of 2001 in Hickory, NC. When we came together we felt our call and mission to be First and Foremost of Lifting up the name of Jesus Christ to a Lost and Dying World. We believe in the one true God, whom sacrificed his Son so that all could be saved. We would like to personally introduce you the individuals of the group and share with you a little about each of them.

Rusty Townsend the Manager and Tenor of the group is 40 years old and has been a Christian for 33 years. Rusty states, "I have not always been where the Lord wanted me and had battles with Satan and his worldly temptations, but God has always kept His hand on me and now He has led me to share the Gospel in Song". Rusty is currently Minister of Music at Covenant Baptist Church in Newton, NC. He has been married for 19 years to Robin, and they have 2 daughters Natasha and Keesha. Rusty praises the Lord that all members of his family have accepted Christ. Rusty states, "I continue to pray everyday that I follow the Lord's will in my Life and not my desires".

Keith Hendrix, the baritone, is Rusty's half brother and is 35 years old. Keith has been a Christian for over 20 years and is a licensed Minister. Keith says "I have made some major mistakes in my life, and yes I have paid for them, the reason for these mistakes was that I put Christ on the shelf. But I learned that without Christ I can do nothing". Keith's wife Rhonda and children (Trinity, Taylor, and Tiffiny) support him in this Ministry. Keith also states "I just want to tell everyone what God has done for me and where he brought me from and that he can do the same for them".

Cameron Woods, the Lead, is a phenomenal talent. He is 22 years old and sings with the conviction of the Holy Spirt. Cameron states "At the age of 7 I ask Christ into my heart while my mother and father prayed with me and I know that He has been with me ever since". He also states "I turned my life over to God to use the talent He's given to me as a ministry for Him, I pray that God will continue to work through my life to show others Christ Love and the way to Salvation." Cameron and his wife Jacqulin are Youth Directors at Covenant Baptist Church. Cameron won't talk much on stage but is always ready to share Christ in a song.

Doyle Hopper, the Bass, has been a great addition to the group since he joined them in September 2004. Doyle has spent many years studying and honing his talent of singing the bass line to perfection. During these years, Doyle has had a solo ministry and sang with several quartets including H.I.S Ministry. He is also a veteran of the US Army as a member of the Elite 82nd Airborne Division. Doyle states "I have spent 6 years of my life in the US Army, but will spend the rest, in the Army of the Lord. I know that this ole' boy is not perfect but I serve a Christ that died for those imperfections and is now alive in my heart today". Doyle will truly bless you with his testimony and his talent.

Brothers Redeemed wants to go where God opens the door and share the Gospel of Christ in song and word. We pray that we will always let Him direct our every step.
