Hi, I'm Cherie. I'm 22 years old and live on the coast of New Zealand. I'm a pretty active person, and involved in the community as much as I can fit in. As busy as I get, I am still pretty laid back and have a goofy sense of humor at times. I love to be outdoors amidst God's wonderful creations. I'm currently working a full-time job, and helping to run a kids group called Chill Zone, as well as being a secretary for the local Aglow. God is the first and most important thing in my life. I don't know where I would be without Him.

Anyways, here's a little glimpse inside my mind.

What I Think...

I think it's important to be very clear
Just who I believe Jesus is.
God's Son - my Saviour - only One who could bear
All my sins on the cross - my guilt became His.
It's important to know the Truths of Gods Word
For there I find strength for each day.
There's more wonderful words than ever I've heard
There is hope, there is life, there is light for the way.

I think it's important to talk with my Lord
Sweet communion - so precious to me.
My praise and my worship - all my heart outpoured
To the love of my life - Lord of all is He.
I think it's important to be "who I am"
For that's who God wants me to be.
Not a copy of someone wise and grand
Not high up or famous - Lord use me as me.

I think it's important to love one another
For Jesus my Saviour loves me.
And if I can't love a sister or brother
How can the lost, His saving love see?
I think it's important to be honest and true
For the world clearly sees how I live.
I'll only bring honour to Jesus - my view
When my best for my Saviour I give.

I think it's important to "speak up" for my Lord
And not just accept the worlds standards.
If I'm known as a "Christian" I'm really a fraud
If I'm silent, "luke-warm", I'll be branded.
I think it's important to bring home the lost
To tell out the sweet story of old.
To be bold and courageous - whatever the cost
Then we'll all walk those streets of gold.

I think it's important for more listening than talking
To be ready to change if He says.
To be willing to give of my time in my walking
For Jesus and family and others each day.
Forgivings important when life gets rough
So let's journey with Jesus - together.
Lets walk hand-in-hand when things get tough
Every storm in life - with Jesus- we'll weather.
