I have lived in twenty-seven places in nine states (so far), and have been constantly awed by the diversity of God's creation.
I've canoed through gator-infested Everglades, turned loose hundreds of baby sea turtles on a beach in Florida, hiked the Grand Canyon (twice - once wasn't punishment enough ), horsebacked across Arizona, toured Civil War battlefields and antebellum homes, and survived a major earthquake.
I write and am Mom to two sons, one daughter, a rescued American Eskimo dog, a green dwarf parrot and several goldfish. The children I homeschooled for three years, and still do when they need a bit of extra help. The dog I taught to sit. She also barks at parked cars.
In 2006 I published two series of devotions in an inspirational collection for missionary wives. Having learned a love of horses and mountains over the years, I now write Western romance. My first book, which won second place in the Golden Rose Contest 2006 Inspirational romance category, is being submitted to publishers by a literary agent I feel truly blessed to work with.
I am a freelance manuscript editor for both published and aspiring authors in a variety of fiction and nonfiction lengths and genres, and am a contributing member of The Christian PEN. If you are interested in receiving editorial assistance with your manuscript, cover letter, synopsis, or one-sheet, feel free to Shout-Mail me, or visit me at http://www.thechristianpen.com/Members.html.
I also review Western and Prairie Romances and conduct author interviews. If you are an author and would like your Western or Prairie Romance reviewed, or if you can stand the spotlight, drop me an e-mail. =)

Please take a moment and read this-you will be blessed. A woman asked a man if he thought she was pretty, He said...no. She asked him if he would want to be with her forever...and he said no. She then asked him if she were to leave would he cry, and once again he replied with a no. She had heard enough. As she walked away, tears streaming down her face the man grabbed her arm and said... You're not pretty you're beautiful. I don't want to be with you forever, I NEED to be with you forever. And I wouldn't cry if you walked away...I'd die.. SO NOW I WILL SAY: I like you because of who you are to me...A true friend. And if I don't get this back I'll take the hint. Remember: A good friend will come bail you out of jail.... But a true friend will be sitting next to you saying WE screwed up, but we had fun! ' Proud to be your Friend! Make sure you read all the way down to the last sentence, and don't skip ahead. I've learned...that life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes. I've learned...that we should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for. I've learned...that money doesn't buy class. I've learned...that it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular. I've learned...that under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved. I've learned...that the Lord didn't do it all in one day. What makes me think I can? I've learned...that to ignore the facts does not change the facts. I've learned...that the less time I have to work, the more things I get done. To all of you...make sure you read all the way down to the last sentence. It's National Friendship Week. Show your friends how much you care. Send this to everyone you consider a FRIEND, even if it means sending it back to the person who sent it to you. If it comes back to you, then you'll know you have a circle of friends. HAPPY FRIENDSHIP WEEK TO YOU!!!!!! YOU ARE MY FRIEND AND I am honored! Shower Of Blessings! Friendship Week!

Oh, Sister Tammy, your place has air like steam just as we do here!
I really hope the children can enjoy their peaceful summer holiday at home, where they get the warmest care and most comfortable life. This often makes me think of my own childhood, which I spent in my village and I had to help with my mother's work in the field!

Hi Likai,
I was just thinking about you and wanted to see how your summer is going. Ours always go more quickly than the winters.
Blessings & prayers,
Tammy

Hi Sister Tammy, how are you?
I, too, was just thinking of you and the kids! Is the summer hot on your side? Are the kids having their summer holiday? How are they usually spend their summer holiday? Do they have a lot of homewotk to do during the summer? I hope they'll enjoy their summer holiday!
Summer in this place is usually hot and humid, usually 24 degrees C during the night and 35 in the day, often rain these days, no or little wind, very hot and humid! We have to use air conditioner though I do not like it.
My second book, Meng Jiang Nv, hasn't been published yet. I told you about it in August 2007. The publisher, Mr. Mike, hasn't editted it till now. One year has passed......, which greatly discouraged me, so I haven't begun my third book. I don't know how to do it.
Have a pleasant summer and give my warmest hello to the kids, let them know I miss them!

Hi Tammy,
Same here. Ducking and dodging storms and tornados and the rain hasn't stopped since beginning in late March. Started getting hot and humid here this week now, too.
Stay cool and God bless!

Hi Tammy,
I don't know how familiar you are with the Messianic movement, but it has become an amazing thing to behold, as Jews from all over the world have come to a saving relationship with Yeshua Hamashiah (Jesus, the Messiah). We can learn so much about our own faith by observing the Jewish perspective. We can also enjoy the rich tradition of Jewish art and music. With that in mind, I would like to invite you to check out an amazing new artist on my site.
Hillel Tokazier is a Jewish singer and songwriter from Finland, who draws on his roots in the synagogue, and then adds elements of jazz, blues, rock, and even gospel. The result is what I consider a totally delightful musical and spiritual experience. All of his songs are in Hebrew, yet I have enjoyed listening to them over and over. Come on by and check out "Shabat medley" that I have put on my page, then you can go to www.newfaithfavorites.com and listen to all of his songs.
I also, have an American singer, Elisabeth Genco, who has a song called "Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem" that honors Israel.
Thanks,
Jim
