I write for teens and parents of teens, twentysomething women, and women in general. Have worked with teens for nearly two decades, which has allowed me the amazing privilege of building a solid core of twentysomething friends who are amazing and hungry to make a difference in this world with their faith. They want more, and so do I. I'm not content with sitting in a pew, though I'm grateful for the body of Christ, and the ministries that occur within churches across the world. And yet I want to be "out there", hearing other perspectives, sharing what Christ has done, and can do in the lives of those who follow him.

Making It Real: Whose Faith Is It Anyway (2007)
What exactly do YOU believe? Are you relying on a hand-me-down faith or a set of directions and rules clanging around in your head instead of yoru heart? Making It Real helps you ask these questions and grow your faith (no matter where you are in your faith walk) into a dynamic relationship with God. Scrape away the frills of "churchianity" to discover answers to questions, like:
Is my faith more than a habit?
Do I trust God when life is unfair?
Who is God to me? Who am I to God?

Practical biblical teaching that lives right where you are, five days of devos for each chapter, space for journaling, Making It Real helps you articulate exactly what you believe and why.

Real Issues, Real Teens (for parents) (2004)
Suzanne shares two decades of ministry to youth, and hundreds of conversations with teens about life, family, faith, what pushes them away in their faith and what helps, what makes a difference in communication, what their world really looks like, and why their faith might not look like your's. Eye-opening, insightful, and practical.

Real Teens, Real Stories, Real Life (2002)
Real stories from real teens and twentysomethings about real life. Does God care if you think you have AIDS? Is he there when you are struggling with thoughts that you wish you didn't have? Does he know that your family is messed up? What about the PK who hates his dad's job, but loves God? Or the girl who is cutting and wants to stop. What about the "perfect girl" who wants to see herself the way God does, instead of trying to live up to an image.

Real teens share how God stepped in and changed their lives, and they discovered that God isn't afraid of the tough stuff and he can rock lives with his love.
