'Tis So Sweet (2007)
(Originally released in 2004 by The Awakening Media Group. Re-released in 2007 independently.)
Whereas "Ivory Worship" focused on newer praise and worship compositions, Steve returned to his childhood roots by recording such classics as "How Great Thou Art", "Great Is Thy Faithfulness", "Just As I Am", "Amazing Grace" and many more (19 hymns in all).
Intimately played in a free-flowing, uninterrupted fashion, you will find a refreshing hour of personal worship awaits you every time you listen.

Ivory Worship (2007)
(Originally released in 2003 by The Awakening Media Group under the title "To Worship You"...re-released in 2007 independently as "Ivory Worship")
This project includes intimate interpretations of many modern praise-and-worship classics such as "Breathe", "We Bow Down", "Shout to the Lord", "Agnus Dei", and others.
This initial CD from Steve was originally offered on The Awakening Show, and has been distributed throughout the United States and around the world as a result of that show.

Christmas Solitude (2005)
"Christmas Solitude" includes "O Come, O Come Emmanuel", "O Holy Night", "What Child Is This?", "Mary, Did You Know?" and many more. This CD will bring a peaceful, relaxing time of worship to what has otherwise become a very hectic time of year!
Included on this CD is one vocal number written and sung by Steve's wife, Christy. This intimate lullaby, sung from the perspective of Mary, the mother of Jesus, serves as a beautiful complement to the instrumental worship that precedes it.

Steve has served on the staff of several churches, both in music and pastoral roles, and in recent years, has begun to expand once again on his musical abilities. His keyboard talents have also been featured regularly on the Awakening, a live praise and worship tv program broadcast all around the world. As part of the Awakening Band, Steve has appeared on TBN's "Praise the Lord" program and Daystar Network's "Celebration" program. In addition, Steve often is requested to add his keyboard style to recording projects in a wide variety of genres including Christian Contemporary, praise and worship, country, jazz, and southern gospel.
With the release of his first solo CD in October, 2003, "To Worship You", Steve accomplished a long-awaited dream of recording worshipful and intimate arrangements of contemporary praise and worship songs. In August, 2004, this CD was followed by the release of "'Tis So Sweet", on which Steve applied the same intimate style of playing to many classic hymns.
In 2005, "Christmas Solitude" was released. This CD featured Steve's intimate styling of well-known Christmas hymns and carols, focusing intentionally on the deep spiritual meaning behind Christmas. In addition to Steve's piano and keyboard arrangements, his wife Christy wrote and sang a lullaby entitled "Mary's Song (I'll Never Be the Same)".
During his varied career, Steve has had the opportunity to play with many well-known Christian music groups and artists, including:
* Tammy Trent
* Phillips, Craig, and Dean
* Bryan Duncan
* Nicole C. Mullen
* CeCe Winans
* David and Nicole Binion
* The Martins
* Darlene Zschech
* Hillsongs Worship Band
* Ronnie Freeman
* Russ Taff
* Dan Dean
* Josh Lopez
* Randy Phillips
* The Awakening Band
* John Ragsdale
* Larry Gatlin
* Landy Maughon and Everest
* Miss America 2003, Erika Harold
* Brandon McSwain Band
...and many others.
Currently, Steve and his wife live in Abingdon, VA with their 17-year-old son whom they homeschool and their 3-year-old daughter. Steve formerly was on the faculty of the School of Music at Appalachian State University as an Adjunct Instructor, where his responsibilities involved accompanying and coaching many vocal students as part of their course of study. Currently, he is a music director for Barter Theatre, a professional stage company in Abingdon.

I'm curious about the "friends" thing. Having never gotten into MySpace or ever had an account there, I'm not sure how this all works. Do you just add anyone that you want to add as a friend? Or do you try to strike up a bit of a friendship first?...
