Selling cars, working in the pharmaceutical manufacturing world or in computer information technology may sound like great jobs by today's standards, but the guys in Staynlis felt like God was calling them to something more. This new hard rock band from Central Kansas delivers a hard-hitting sound with a desire to reach those that are seeking, those that have been hurt and feel there is no hope. Staynlis' music is an explosion of powerful guitars, thundering drums, melodic vocals and lyrics that speak of their trials, their errors and their successes in their relationship with our Savior, fused together to create a sound and emotion all their own.
With the release of their self-titled new EP produced by Tony Palacios, Staynlis has found their own sound and direction, performing nation wide to bring hope of salvation by the blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The track "Too Much," really brings it home with lush guitars, a mesmerizing bass line, haunting vocals, and rich percussion; All to arrive at the message of getting to a point in our lives where we need to give up and give everything to God and say I can’t do it on my own anymore.
So what about the name? In 1 Peter 1:19 it states "But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot" The name Staynlis was chosen because of Christ's sacrifice on the cross and His blood that was shed. Because of that sacrifice, we are forgiven and "Staynlis" in His eyes.
Staynlis agreed that they would not water down their message and agreed to be straight forward with God's message. The group has also agreed to remain "approachable" instead of scaring people away by their notoriety. They are simply out to break down barriers and reach those that can't be reached by any other medium.
Staynlis wants to give God and Christian music a different image. They want an image of edgy in your face rock with a Christ centered message. This is a message that is definitely being heard.
Mission Statement:
Staynlis desires to reach those that are seeking, those that have been hurt and those that are without hope. Our tool for this desire is our music. Our hope is that we can break down generational barriers and reach those that can't be reached by any other medium. Our music speaks of our trials, our errors and our successes in our relationship with our Savior, and our hope is that it moves hearts into a relationship with Him. Our plan is to accomplish this by being obedient to God's plans for our lives and His use of our music as He works through us.

What is ministry and calling?
As a band we constantly ask ourselves why we do what we do. We think we are unique in the respect that we use the music as a means to minister to people and not necessarily minister through music.

Hey y'all! So, Libby was telling me about her reasons why you should come to shindig...but accidentally I wasn't mentioned! That's the only reason you need! ;) Hope all is well!
Ha! We have looked into those new fangled solar panels to heat it but it seems summer is so short by the time we get them ordered and installed it will be time to close it! Alas, I swim in cold water...brrrrrr!
