I have been out of action for a while now but I am hoping to get active again by workng with local musicians in my studio. The last 3 to 4 years have not been easy but I praise God for the victories He has given me and for the strength to carry on. I do not plan on anything major right now because of some of the things I am dealing with but I do need to get busy doing something even if it is just a little. I have always belived that God sets my footsteps and aligns them with His will for me. The battle with cancer and angolocine spondilitos was not something I expected but I belive that the Lord and Jesus His son will give me glorious victory. If you are fighting a fight with cancer or for that matter anything drop me a note and I will pray over your needs.

I will need to update what is below later since largely I have had to shut down most of what I can do! Back when the illness's got a hold of me the groups that where with Soul Joy decided to stay with Soul Joy out of friendship. Truthfully there is little I can do these days. I will always care for the fine folks I worked with and hope to see them all get to place the Lord has chosen for them.

I have spent many years doing concert outreaches with friends and lots of different groups. Ministry through Music has been our slogan since 1999 and an important part of the belief system in place.
My interest in Christian music is strongly supported by its influence in my life for the past 25 years. Music is ministry and not just entertainment. I burned eveything I owned in secular music before I became a Christian. I found backwords masking on a secular song by a group and was so upset that someone would mess with my head that I got rid of it all. Then I went looking and found Christian music. It was a song that brought me to Christ. That song made me see myself and His love. I have listened only to Christian music since then and will only listen to the same the rest of my life. Music can reach across to anyone with the love of Christ. Any style of music can make a difference. There is no style of music that cannot be used for God's glory. It is more important that the person who is singing the song and playing the music love Christ. I don't want to ever see Soul Joy lose its focus and make the music more inportant than the ministry.
