A Woman's Walk With Peter: A Study of the First & Second Epistles of Peter (2008)
In these confusing times, we as women often search for answers for life in the latest magazine issues or on television talk shows. Sometimes, we even visit the "self-help" section of the local bookstore.
If you are struggling with...
- lukewarm faith
- feeling "out of place"
- uselessness
- an unsuccessful marriage
- a friendship famine
- understanding truth
- failed expectations at work or home
- suffering persecution for your faith
may I encourage you to journey with me through the two epistles penned by Peter under the inspiration of God? It is here that you can find hope and healing for these struggles and more.

God began preparing me for ministry at the tender age of 10-years-old. I loved pretending to be a teacher and the only material I had to teach my invisible students was the Bible. I am amazed as I look back how God prepared me all my life for the role I fulfill today.
As I grew in my local church, I was actively involved in Sunday school and Wednesday night Bible "Quizzing," which is the study of the Bible for young adults. So I've been studying the Bible most of my life. I began teaching adult Sunday school at age 20 and a few years later God began prompting me to start a women's Bible study for our church. Two years after the first (of many) promptings, I began that women's group. My current ministry grew from the frustration of the superficiality of many of the Bible studies on the market today. I am of the belief that the best place to learn about the Bible is from the Bible itself. And that's what " A Woman's Walk(TM)" Bible studies were written to do...to lead you through the Bible to find the meaning intended by the original author and to apply the truths learned to your everyday life.
Today, I live in Pennsylvania with my husband and two children. I use my personal Bible study time to make notes to format the Bible studies that eventually appear in book form.
I am dedicated to teaching the truth of God's Word to women. Founding my ministry on 2 Timothy 2:15, I believe that we are to "be diligent to present [ourselves] approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth."
Knowing that our "adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour" (1 Peter 5:8), we need to be alert, knowing the truth. The word of God acts like a sword (Ephesians 6:17, Hebrews 4:12) and is the most effective tool against the attacks of the devil. He seeks to confuse you and make you ineffective as a Christian, but knowing the Truth as revealed in the Bible, you will be able to combat him! My desire is that you would seek a deeper, more intimate relationship with God, learning about Him in truth as He is revealed in His Word. When we know The Truth, it is much more difficult for anyone (including the devil) to deceive us.
