Authors: If you need a really good graphic artist for your book cover, check out Jonathan Koelsch. He colored did the layout for my dust jacket. Good guy too.
The Arrow (2007)
In the recesses of time, a boy discovers three blood covered nails. He takes them home to a cruel master who forges them into arrows; arrows that can kill and heal. One arrow is found in the future...and falls in to the hands a handsome liar, a hauntingly beautiful priestess, and a rebellious prince. They are all under the compelling will of the Sovereign and the power of the mysterious relic, the permanently stained arrow. From the dark sinister gates of the City Aliyl to the crystal clear fountains of Adamah... Lives will change.
Hello! I am a fiction author from Nashville, TN. Check out my novel called "The Arrow." The book is written for young adults and has an old world feel...I like to say that it is A Pilgrim's Progress meets Lord of the Rings. Main influences are C.S. Lewis, Tolkien, and Brian Jacques. I love allegory and sweeping epics. My goal is to create stories that minister to all but especially ...those that are drawn to the darkness. My message is that God will reach down and pick them up and give them hope and purpose. You can see by my cover art that I want to appeal to the anime/manga reader and I hope to create a manga series from this novel and launch a ministry with it. Click through my book link and read the sample chapter. Let me know what you think.
I love God and my savior Jesus Christ, always have... just not always shown it. But He was faithful, even when I wasn't. Even now, His mercies are new every morning. Thank you Lord!
Below, is one of the best chapters (I think!) in my book, The Arrow. If you are interested in more, you can order directly off my website, www.rrmccoy.com. Let me know what you think of the sample! Thanks and blessings - R.
