Revelation Daily (2005)
Revelation Daily is a slow pace, easy to understand daily devotional on the book of Revelation. It is based on Theodore Epps Practical Studies in Revelation Back to the Bible series.
In Revelation 1:3 says "Blessed is he who reads and thsoe who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it, for the time is near.' NKJV
It is very important not to fear Revelation. If God didnt want us to know the future, He would not have asked the apostle John to write and record The Lord's testimony of Revelation.
This daily devotional will help the reader to understand the book of Revelation with simple messages and thoughts as they go through their daily walk with God. The reader will be inspired to feel the assurance that this world and Satan are on a limited time clock, and that God has promised a new world for those who live in Jesus Christ, a world where we will be in God's presence for eternity. There will be no more war or tears or anger or hunger. Where there will be peace eternal. They may be inspired also to share this new world with others. We are all told of Armagedon, of Hell and of Heaven, and of the Lake of Fire, but not much is said about the new world that is promised to those who are in Jesus. The final completion of God's universal plan.

Revelation Daily is designed for mature christians who are open to the Holy Spirit's counselling in regards to the future ahead. For new Christians who wish to go through this study, there needs to be a mature Christian or pastor who are totally in tune with God who will work with you to help you comprehend the symbolism and images that Revelation expresses in it's verses.

Be encouraged to read Revelation Daily and Poems of Revelation to help in your understanding of this very feared book of the Bible

I have also written 'Poems of Revelation', and 'Revelation Daily', two books that share the message of Revelation (the last book of the Bible) in two different forms...poetry and as a daily lesson book...based on Theodore Epp's Practical Studies in Revelation. Back to the Bible series.

I'm definately an online chatter, love to talk to people over the internet, especially instant messenging.
I love lounging in my nightwear if i can get the opportunity.
I am also involved in a very special secret project that i am very excited about...and learning heaps as i undergo research into the subject area.

I became a Christian in 1978ish when a couple of girls from school introduced me to a church youth group, even though i was brought up with the church.
I started attending the youth group...but after 3 years the group weren't the best for loving people, so God moved me onto the Uniting church youth group where the foundation of my christian life was set in good fertilizing soil.
I moved to Wagga in 1986 and was baptised by full immersion at the Church of Christ before God moved me to the Salvation Army where He is using me in a wonderful way.

HOW HAVE YOU BEEN ROO?
~Annette~Praying for my sister Liz~ on 6/07/08 - 3:16 PM

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High.(Psalm 92:1)

Psalm 92 is a "Song for the Sabbath day," a resting place for those who are troubled.

The song begins with a commendation of praise: "It is good to give thanks to the Lord." It does us good to turn from our unsettling and anxious thoughts to declare God's "lovingkindness in the morning, and [His] faithfulness every night" (v.2). God loves us and is always faithful! He makes us glad (v.4).

Praise not only makes us glad, it makes us wise. We begin to understand something of God's greatness and creative design in all that He does (vv.5-9). We gain a wisdom that is hidden from those who do not know God. The wicked may "flourish" and "spring up like grass" for a moment (v.7), but ultimately they will wither away.

The righteous, however, are joined to the One who dwells in eternity (v.8). They "flourish like a palm tree" and "like a cedar in Lebanon" (v.12), symbols of graceful beauty and unbending strength. For they have been "planted in the house of the Lord" (v.13). Their roots go down into the soil of God's faithfulness; they draw on His unquenchable love.

Give thanks and praise to the Lord today!

Shalom,
Annette

"And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague" (Mark 5:34).

Your confidence in God, and His Word, will ensure that nothing is missing or broken in your life. Step out on what God has said, knowing that if you believe it in your heart, it will become your reality.

Hugs,
Annette

God's Strong Hands;

When we have turned back, God can turn us around. When we have destroyed,
God can rebuild. Christ in the strong hands of God conquering my defection.
This is the gospel.

In Genesis, it seems that almost every person and family mentioned is dysfunctional.
The text is filled with accounts of jealousy, anger, violence, and deception that
leave a trail of damaged relationships. Even Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob lauded
as heroes of faith in Hebrews 11 display flawed character and spiritual lapses. But God
never leaves them that way.

Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day.
(Genesis 32:24)

Jacob defrauded his older twin Esau, who swore to kill him (Gen. 27:41). Then, before the
estranged brothers would face each other after 20 years,
Jacob wrestled with God. When asked his name, the conniving younger brother finally admitted
who he was: Jacob the deceiver (Gen. 32:24-27). That marked a spiritual turning point.

(Ephesians 4:24)
Put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Receiving God's gift of salvation through Christ is a one time event, but to become like
Him often requires suffering and struggle. It involves putting off old sinful habits and
replacing them with new godly ones. Paul wrote, "Put off, concerning your former conduct,
the old man which grows corrupt [and] put on the new man which was created according to God,
in true righteousness and holiness" (Eph. 4:22-24).

What is troubling you today? God may be using the kind rebuke of a friend or a painful trial
to prompt you to get rid of a sinful habit and to replace it with godly character
(Rom. 8:29; 1 Peter 4:1-2).

The process of becoming like Christ is sometimes painful, but it's always worth it.
To be like Jesus is our goal,
Though it doesn't happen fast;
We trust the Spirit as our Guide
Till we're glorified at last.

The conversion of a soul is the miracle of a moment; the growth of a saint is the work of a lifetime.

Blessings,
Annette

Holy Spirit

"May Your Spirit Rest Upon us,Lord"....
1..... Lord, may your Spirit rest upon us, your Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding, your Spirit of Counsel and Might, your Spirit of Knowledge and the Fear of the Lord. Help us to be led by your Spirit and discern your Spirit within each other. Build Your church, Lord, that the gates of hell will NOT prevail! May Your Kingdom come on earth as it is established in heaven.

Isaiah 11:2-" The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him--the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD"--

Matthew 5:10- "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven".

Matthew 16:18- "And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it".

2..... Holy Spirit, help us to worship in Spirit and in Truth. Teach us and show us how to become true worshippers, for that is our desire.

John 4:23-24- "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."

3..... Help us, Lord, to bear fruit that would glorify who You are! Let us lay down our agendas and our recognition and cause us to walk worthy of You, Lord, fully pleasing You and being fruitful. Fill us with knowledge and spiritual understanding, being strengthened with all power according to Your glorious might so that we may have great endurance and patience.

Colossians 1:9-14- "For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins".

Matthew 7:20- "Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them".

4..... Lord, release fresh vision and fresh fire within our hearts for we want to do what you want. Let us not forsake the assembling of the saints, but draw us together to build the container of life that will house your Glory.

Psalms 40:8- "I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart."

Hebrews 10:23-25- "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching".

5...... Through these times of shaking and change, help us to trust you, Lord, and to keep our hearts guarded. Let us not cast away our confidence or become offended. Keep us filled with the fruits of righteousness.

Philippians 1:9-11- "And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ-to the glory and praise of God".

Hebrews 10:35-36- "So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised".

Proverbs 4:23-" Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life".

6..... Release a Spirit of courage and boldness to us, Lord, that we will do Your will and be victorious! Release your power in us for signs and wonders. Release Great Grace so we can run the race set before us.

Acts 4:29-31, 33,- "Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus." After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all".

Hebrews 12:1-2- "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God".

7..... Lord, increase a love for purity in our hearts. Deliver us from evil and cleanse us that we may ascend to Your holy hill. We desire to see You and we hunger and thirst for righteousness. Fill us, Lord, with Your purity.

Proverbs 22:11- "He who loves a pure heart and whose speech is gracious

will have the king for his friend".....

Psalms 24:3-6- "Who may ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false. He will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God his Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob"......

Matthew Chapters 6 & 8......

Rejoice In The Lord!!!!
Love:Pastor Emilia

Hello!!! How are you today? Are you hungry for more success in your walk with Jesus? It is Jesus desire that you be a fully functional and successful bold ambassador in the kingdom of God. Philemon 1:8-9; Ephesians 6:20. Just as successful as He was in becoming your Savior.

Jesus Saves

After feeding more than five thousand people by multiplying five small loaves of bread and two little fish Jesus commanded His disciples to get into a boat and go to the other side of the lake. (Sea of Galilee a freshwater lake). And after He sent this great multitude away, He Himself went up into the mountain to pray. Time past and evening fell as Jesus communed with His beloved Father. And the disciples found themselves in the middle of the lake tossed about by huge waves stirred up by a great opposing wind which battered them about and caused them to fear for their lives.. By the time Jesus had finished His prayer time with the Father it was the wee hours of the morning. (Between 3 AM and 6 AM) Having sent the disciples on ahead He set out walking across the sea to where they were. However, when they observed Him coming toward them walking on the water they were even more terrified than before. Now they had what they supposed was a ghost coming for them! And Jesus would have passed them by except in their fear they cried out. Mark 6: 48 ( Remember Jesus told them to go to the other side. He never told them to stop in the middle of the lake and fear any storm that stood in their way of obeying His command. He was going to meet them on the other side.) When Jesus heard their cries of terror immediately He stopped and talked with them saying," Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid. Peter responded Lord if that is really you COMMAND me come to you on the water. Jesus simple response was COME! Peter climbed down out of that wind and wave tossed boat in a great surge of instance faith, which enabled Him to walk to Jesus. Having taken His eyes off the wind and walking on the water to Jesus and having solved the ghost problem, Peter once again turned his attention to the boisterous winds that still raged about them. And he was once again overcome by fear and doubt, which immediately caused him to start to sink beneath the turbulent water. In his desperation Peter cried out to Jesus to save Him. And as Jesus stretched out His hand to save Peter He also said, O you of little faith, why did you doubt!!!

Notice Jesus COMMANDED His disciple to get into that boat and GO TO THE OTHER SIDE of the lake. Well, Jesus was fully aware of what they would find in the middle of the lake. Remember what Jesus commands of us He enables us to do by faith. No matter how big the storm is that stands between us and our destination. If He commands it of you, you are able to do it. He ask nothing, absolutely nothing of us that we cannot, by the power of His Spirit through obedience, accomplish. We are just as much His disciples as this group of frightened men were. And just as He command them to do, we are also commanded to do what He says fearlessly by faith without one smidgen of doubt. Just before these men set out on their voyage to cross the Sea of Galilee, which was their commanded destination. They had watched Jesus demonstrate to them that He alone was their sufficiency in life, by multiplying the five loaves of bread and the two fish. He alone was their, and now is our, abundantly sufficient bread of life. Whatever our need, it is found in Him. He demonstrated who He was to these disciples and immediately sent them out to face the raging wind and waves that stood between them and their destination. And when they failed to do that He made it clear to them (and us )that it was because of their small doubting faith. It is undoubting faith that we are to apply to every circumstance of life. Jesus is there to caught us when we fall and cry out to Him. Just as He was with Peter. But, oh have much better for us, and how He rejoices when by faith we determine to walk through the storms of life right into all the promises of His grace.

Matthew14: 22-33; Mark 6:45-52; James 1:6-8.
