At the young age of 13 while attending a Methodist Church, I was introduced to a little Pentecostal church in Connecticut and southern gospel music. I soon learned to play guitar and began writing songs that reflected how I felt about being a Christian and my love for Jesus.
Since those days back in the 60's and 70's, I have written hundreds of gospel songs and recorded six CD's and released numerous singles. My music is sold at Walmart, numerous Christian bookstores and all digital sites including itunes and Rhapsody. I have also had the unique experience to record a live stand up comedy CD in January 2007 titled "Laughing Gas" which really came as a joke in itself and somehow just happened!
In the past six years I have also taken on new avenues of creativity and have written and released several crime novels, a travel guide, a self help book on dealing with your credit life and I'm currently working on several new book projects and will be back in the studio in Nashville in the spring of 08 to record a new CD titled "Back2Basics.

For a number of years now I have served as an Emergency Services Chaplain and director for a disaster rapid response team that serves the southeast and beyond. In 2006 I left the service of the Homeland Security/U.S. Coast Guard department after serving as a Chaplain for Region 8 for five years.

Currently, I am involved with several businesses besides my ministry. One such business really excites me because it combines the entrepeneur with music. SafeHarbor Cafes is a great new Christian cafe/club that offers music, entertainment, billards, foods, games, gift store and a whole lot of good Christian fellowship and fun in a wholesome environment! When I have the time, which isn't often these days, I love to cook, photography, music, travel, a quiet night in front of the fireplace or a good thunder and lightening storm, a walk on the beach, in the mountains or a quiet country road or I often find a quiet corner someplace alone with my guitar to pray, meditate and wait upon the Lord and if I'm lucky, write a new song.

I have come to know how precious and valuable time really it is. It's a commodity that can't be renewed so we must make the most of it everyday. Having worked in law enforcment and emergency services, I have seen how quickly and unexpectedly it can be taken away. The word tells us this but few really grasp the validity of that scripture.
