Influences:
Jesus Christ (but that should go without saying)
Too many others to list
Sounds Like:
A blend of Acoustic Rock and Country
creatively mixing originals with contemporary hits
from today and gospel hymns from yesterday.

Resounding Joy's sound is cutting-edge from the
vocal styles of Michael J Maione and
Christine Kantenwein to the unique blend
of ethic percussion and electronics of Joe Caruso.

Discography
Amazing Grace (open door) (2008)
Amazing Grace verses were written in the late 1700's. Michael J Maione wrote a chorus to this classic hymn in 2008.
I saw the light (2008)
Song originally performed by Hank Williams Sr.
We added an Em chord and upped the tempo a bit.
Who is He (2008)
This is a rhetorical question of course.
This track starts at a slow tempo then changes tempo 2 more times.
Close to the flame (2007)
This song reminds us to stay close to the refining light of Jesus Christ. It's not always an easy task, but like no other place on this Earth to be. AMEN!
Jesus saved me (2007)
This song talks about what it takes to be saved by the Grace of God. It is also a big part of Michael J Maione's life testimony.

About Resounding Joy Band

Resounding Joy is a ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Founded in 2008 by Michael J Maione and Joe Caruso,
Resounding Joy receives its name from 1 Chronicles 15:16.
Then David spoke to the leaders of the Levites to appoint
their brethren to be the singers accompanied by instruments of music,
stringed instruments, harps, and cymbals,
by raising the voice with resounding joy.

1 Chronicles 15:1

Our purpose first and foremost is to Glorify God and lead others to Christ.
Our music offers a positive, upbeat message of Hope and Salvation!
We remind others that it's not about us and our good works;
it's about Jesus and what He did for us on the cross.

We always remember to check our egos at the door.
We hope to draw the audience's attention to Jesus rather than ourselves.
Glory be to God. Luke 2:14

Hi Folks,

It doesn't matter whether you're Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Conservative, or Liturgical you need to be aware of what God is doing in these days through the Messianic movement. The more we understand the roots of our faith in Judaism, the more we can understand what God wants us to know to make that faith grow.

It doesn't matter whether you like rock, country, contemporary, gospel, or hip hop, you need to grow in your musical tastes, and sample the rich tapestry of Messianic Jewish music that is available today. To that end, I would like to introduce you to two amazing Messianic artists, whose musical style is very unique, and totally wonderful.

Deborah Kline-Iantorno's music springs from her Jewish and Puerto Rican roots, and her years as a night club singer. Her songs are exciting, her voice is gorgeous, and the message she brings is right on.

Straight from Jerusalem, Israel, the songs of Rivka Whitten are alive and fresh. Her music is a unique mix of Yemenite Israeli vocals along with rhythms from around the world, and a gifted group of instrumentalists.

Please come on by, and check out a couple of amazing songs that I have put on my page, then you can go to www.newfaithfavorites.com and listen to all of them.

Thanks,

Jim

INCITE: Compassion
We all know the story... After a time of careless living the prodigal son returns to the home of a loving father who awaits him with open arms.

Just as this father welcomed his son, at the heart of God's plan of redemption is a father's heart of compassion. Who, regardless of your history, waits for you with open arms.
