My interests run a bit wild. I like camping and hiking, taking a boat to sea, fishing, and eating food. I'm Texan, so Mexican food is one of the four food groups. I like snorkeling but tend to not like the beach -- too much sand. Sand. Bah humbug.

POD I have special interest in strictly because I first heard them live. Of course, I'm also starting to like Breaking Benjamin for some reason...

Less Modern: One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich, Things Fall Apart, Arrow of God, Til We Have Faces, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lord of the Rings, The Guilded Six-bits (short story)....You get the point.
Non-fic: Desiring God, The Pleasures of God, Knowing God, Velvet Elvis (just read that one), The Pursuit of Holiness, The God-Chasers, Getting into Character, Between the Lines...Once more you get the point.

I'm getting pickier by the month.
TV: Jericho, The Unit, Numbers, 24. I like what I saw of Heroes and Lost, but I honestly can't keep up with TV shows that you must watch every week to get the plot, even though those are always my favorites.
Sitcoms, reality TV, and soap operas must die long, horribly painful deaths.
Movies: Batman, Spiderman, Braveheart, Gladiator, Sweet Home Alabama, Band of Brothers, and a few others I'm forgetting right now.

I'm a college grad who enjoys reading and writing. I'm still trying to learn the ropes, so let me know if you see where I need help. I have an English Lit degree that's left me with some hilarious stories regarding myself and my professors and still think like a fiction writer (unpublished, of course). I read theology and philosophy for fun and one day will have traveled the entire planet. If Americans are the spoiled brats of Christendom, I am the spoiled brat of the spoiled brats. I've done some substitute teaching, tutoring, documentation, and (gasp) retail. Ssh...don't let the last one get out.
Anyway. A friend of mine made the little banner below, and it's absolutely saturated with symbolism from a story I've been working on. I'll leave such to your imagination. Mwahaha...
