Who is Courtney Brown?
Psalmist, composer, writer, counselor, and teacher only begin to describe the many gifts that Courtney effectively employs! She began traveling a path of singing, instrument playing, and song writing at the tender age of three when her parents bought her first organ. Under the influences of both her Mom and Dad, who are both musicians, she began playing the organ, mimicking the music that she heard her parents play at home and in church. By the age of 10, Courtney had in addition to the organ, learned to play the drums and keyboards and had begun accompanying her father during Sunday morning worship services. At the young age of twelve, Courtney copyrighted her first gospel song entitled All My Help.
Utilizing her gifts to glorify God and to serve others, Courtney has continued to write gospel music releasing "All Things" on the New Dimensions Record label with United Saints in 2004. Her debut solo project - "In the Process" - was recorded live in Baton Rouge on September 2, 2006. The single is available now and the full live project will be released soon.
When not ministering in song, Courtney spreads the gospel through literary and theatrical arts. She is the author of "Letters From A Concerned Friend" (Publish America: 2004); "BJ Goes to School" (Publish America :2008) -complete with illustrations by her mother Yolanda Brown; and she shares authorship of "Spirit and Truth: The Praise & Worship Experience" with Danielle K. Gardner (I-Proclaim: 2007). Courtney's list of accomplishments also includes playing the role of Mother Pearl in the first gospel movie musical stage play, "Aint No Sunshine When He's Home" written and directed by Clyde Jones, starring Cuba Gooding Sr., Todd Bridges and Sean Levert. For this production, Courtney also sang background vocals and assisted in the writing and arrangement of the musical renditions performed. Writing such plays as "It's Not Over" and "He's Not a Baby Anymore," Courtney looks forward to directing and producing stage plays in the future.
Destined to bring healing to others who are emotionally, spiritually and physically wounded, she is a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor through the American Association of Christian Counselors. Additionally, Courtney has attained a Master of Science in Ministerial Leadership from Regions University and serves as the Pastor of Christian Education of True Foundation Evangelistic Ministries. Courtney has formerly obtained a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Tulane University, and certification as a Belief Therapist from the Therapon Institute. She has served as both a case manager, and residential counselor for abused and neglected children in foster case having also served as a case manager supervisor overseeing and coordinating services for people with mental and physical disabilities in the state of Louisiana.
Courtney is a founding member of One Touch Ministries- the fine arts division of True Foundation Evangelistic Ministries.

Greetings Courtney Brown,
Well, first and foremost my name is Lorenzo aka "Shadow God" producer, composer, writer and engineer who lives to create music for spiritual enlightenment and might I add, I would to hear what your music sounds like. From the way you described it, I am really anxious to get a taste of it. Furthermore, I was inspired by reading your biography listing the number(s) of accomplishments in your successful career thus far. Its clear that god has really moved you and placed you into a world of confidence, prosperity, excitement and determination. If there is one thing I learned its this: responsibility are for leaders who empower leadership. The mind personifies excellence, once excellence is leaded in the right direction. The little foxes in life blind our faith often times by fear, unforgiveness and worry. In order to strengthen these areas in life exercising faith is to increase, apply and live by the word. In my music, I share stories of situations were people think there is no way out. But the answer to that question is God is able; nothing is impossible for him. As I was thoroughly investigating your page, I noticed how beautiful you are as well. Your smile is worth so many words there isn't a book big enough to describe your beauty. I deeply encourage you to keep smiling and doing god's work for your crown will resemble that of a queen. Well Courtney, it was a pleasure getting to know you through word and ministry. I pray that you would visit my page as well and comment freely, openly and willingly upon your experience there as well. In addition just to let you know, I truly admire your work and as of today I've become of your biggest fans. As I mentioned earlier in this post, I am very interested in hearing some of your musical material as well. So I pray when you get a chance to enlighten me on that please. May god continue to bless you and your family, peers and everyone else involved in your life, work, and ministry. Thank you for your time princess.
Have a blessed evening. .
