I have been married for 35 years. My husband is originally from Iran. He came here to go to college and we met a few months after his arrival and were married after he'd been here about a year. He became a U.S. citizen in 1980, right after the birth of our oldest son.
We have three grown children, two sons and a daughter. Our oldest son is married and lives in Maryland. Our second son lives near us, works and goes to college. Our youngest child and only daughter lives at home and is a college senior, studying Physical Therapy.
I praise the Lord daily for His sustaining power and grace. I am looking forward to the day my husband turns his life over to Christ and we begin the Muslim outreach I know God has planned for us in the future.
I take care of my almost four year-old great-nephew part-time while my niece works. I also am a Meals on Wheels volunteer, delivering lunch to home-bound seniors. This is very rewarding and I love the people on my route so much.
I am active in my church, running the overhead during Praise and Worship, teaching Childrens' Church, subbing for the Missions Director for the Missions March and assisting in keeping the church clean.
I love my friends here on Shoutlife and am very grateful to the owners of this site. YOU ROCK!!

Got this in an email from my cousin and thought it was worth sharing:
TWO WOLVES
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all.

We just got word that my nephew, Steven, who is in the Army, arrived in Iraq and is travelling to his destination by truck. Please pray for him and and the other soldiers for God's hand of protection and divine wisdom. Thanks so much.

Cool, I work at a hospital and there's heaps of Muslims there and they are all really nice guys. But yea takes some good bible knowledge and lots of prayer to have them come to christ. I know some missionaries who lived in Senegal (Africa) and were preaching to lots of muslims and God did some amazing things there with their family.
May God grant you the desires of your heart.
God bless you

Hi there Margaret,
Thank you for your encouragement. It's a great song..I am in the middle of doing an album. I was just reading through your profile. I pray God brings your husband to faith soon. It just made me think of that movie 'not without my daughter' that's a real eye opener to Muslim life.
God bless and take care
