My name is Valerie Anne Faulkner. I've been around for fifty something years and been married for almost forty of them. My childhood sweetheart and I have three wonderful kids... five fabulous grandkids. And, a ninety five pound Lab, we call Jake. Bill, my husband, and I have owned and operated an electrical contracting business since 1973 here in Florida. Currently when we are not out on service calls, we spend time marketing our latest endeavor. "The book."

I completed, "I Must Be in Heaven, A Promise Kept" just before Christmas and Bill put together my web-site, E-book, and CD; arranging all the particulars for promoting on the internet. Together, we definitely make a good team. Funny thing; it's almost always been that way. We have woven our lives together since we originally met. I was only twelve. He was sixteen. The book I wrote is based on the lifetime love story we've shared.

We all know that marriage can be the best or the worst time in someone's life. Did you ever wonder how some people can succeed? Actually, with statistics the way they are today, it's somewhat of a wonder if a couple makes it past four years. And, the younger the lovers are...whew, it's rare.

Personally, I think the primary factor; the stitch that binds a couple has much to do with faith. Couples need to have faith in each other and faith in God. One of my favorite little quotes is, "A day with prayer seldom unravels." However, even my prince charming and I have needed a pinch or pleat occasionally to keep our lives tailored to the perfect fit. In fact, just a few years ago we were holding on by a thread. Our fairy tale life was shredded and sheared. And... we needed an absolute miracle, to mend it.

So, that's a bit about me. I'm not going to tell you the whole story now. I really want to hear about you.
