I guess Peretti or Dekkers more supernatual stuff. Imagine Stephen King or Wes Craven meets the Old Testament (minus all of the profanity, sex, explicit violence, etc).

Light at the Edge of Darkness (2007)
When forced to the edge of darkness, there's only one way back: embrace the Light.

A parade of possibilities exist at the edge of darkness. Venture to futures where faith equates to terrorism. Where terrorists smuggle frozen embryos to save lives and resist invasive technologies designed to break their very souls. Escape a haunted underground labyrinth and the inbred captors hunting you down. Cross swords with monsters wearing masks of friendship to conceal their darkness. Explore alien worlds on the brink of destruction as they scour the galaxies for hope. Follow these tales and more to the edge of darkness, to the brink of despair, and bask in the Savior's Light.

About Daniel I Weaver
Fiction to Scare the Jesus into You...

What would make an author chose a tagline like that? Well, horror isn't a genre one would typically classify as Christian. Anything supernatural or frightening gets clumped into suspense/thriller. The fact is, for me, I love to write scary stories with a supernatural twist that bring readers a little closer to Christ. I won't bash you over the head with a Bible (unless it drives the plot forward, heh heh) but there is always an underlying Christian element to my work.

So, what can I tell you about Daniel I Weaver? Married. Two kids with a third on the way. Worship leader/guitar player. Used to have a local hard rock band. Went to college at Pitt in Johnstown. Spent most of my life in PA and love it here. Grew up reading the classics of sci-fi, fantasy, and horror. Can't get enough of authors like Peretti and Dekker who help pave the way for the supernatural brand of this genre. Have an agent and am actively working to get my debut novel published. Participate in a few dozen online writers groups, critique groups, fellowships, etc.

If you're interested in reading some of my work, you can stop by my website (www.danieliweaver.com) and read sample chapters of "When Nightmares Walk" or "Fingerprint." Or, you can order your advanced copy of "Light at the Edge of Darkness" today from www.thewriterscafepress.com to read three chilling short stories.

At my website, I'm active recruiting my own personal army of volunteer publicists/influencers I've affectionately dubbed "The Gifted." I'm searching for people willing to help me spread the word and help me make my novel a success. Please stop by to find out more.

Other than that, if you have a question, just ask. You can email me at author@danieliweaver.com and I'll gladly answer.

And last but not least, here is the trailer I put together for When Nightmares Walk. Hope you enjoy.
