Well, I have been doing music since the age of 15. I started in the secular Hip-Hop/Gansta Rap era back in 1985. I made the change to Christian Rap about two years ago when I realized the real reason for music, to glorify the name of Christ. It also had quite a bit to do with my wife. It was because of her I wanted to lead a life of christianity to help put our marriage in the correct perspective. Rebuilding our foundation and placing God first made all the difference in every aspect of my life. Now I want to be a good christian, good husband, good son, and good role model. I also feel like rap music has really played a big role in the negative vibe that plagues our children and young adults today. I really hope that some and or all of the kids and young adults will give christain rap a chance to fix and enhance their lives and ways of thinking just as they gave secular rap a chance to destroy their lives and ways of thinking. It's crazy how things are today. You can't have anything that is free of degrading situations. Women in almost nothing and songs with every other word is negativity and or foul! I had to cancel the myspace too much stuff that would get under the mine and the wife's skin. I'm tired of so much. I am ready and willing for God to come back into my life and set things straight.
