Daryn happily quit acting at age 15, but enjoyed experiencing classes with her brother Darby Hinton.  Most people in the small acting class of 36 people went on to become famous, including Tom Selleck.

Dance Cotillion -
Paul Henried's dance cotillion for 10 years. It was run by Paul's wife and Daryn's mother Marilynn Hinton introduced most of the celebrity's children to the class. In

Hillary Carlip's book 'Queen of the oddballs' she writes about her Trophy Ball experience at this cotillion "...my
class was largely made up of children of celebrities.....On the night of the Grand Trophy Ball, it was quite fascinating to see who kept winning the contests -- the children of Charleton Heston, Vincent Price, Michael Landon, and Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh (yeah, Jamie Lee Curtis)".
