About Me
I am in love with my Father God who has done such a deep and miraculous healing in my life and I have a passion to share Him with others. I have a passion to see others receive the healing that IS available through Christ.

I am a writer...I feel odd saying that because I have never considered myself a writer. Oh, people have told me for years that I write well and should write a book. I even write a monthly column for an online Christian magazine -- HeartBeat the Magazine (www.heartbeatthemagazine.com). Still, I did not think of myself as a "writer". Recently, I was asked if I was a writer and I answered with a firm "NO!" The Lord immediately pricked my heart saying, "Yes, Debbie...you are a writer...that is what I've called you to do." Over the past two weeks, I have found myself in similar situations where I knew God was nudging me to step out of my place of comfort so that He can use me in the way He desires.

At this point, I'm not exactly sure what that means. All I know is that God is asking me to tell my story of how He took my very wounded and broken heart and healed it beyond anything I could have asked or imagined; to share the truths from His Word that miraculously transformed my life...and continue to do so; to bring hope to those who are hurting and lead them to the One who can heal their wounded hearts.

I felt led to start this blog for two reasons...as an avenue for God to reach others with the words He gives me and also as a place where I can form networks and receive input from other writers and speakers. (I believe He is also calling me to speak -- and I say that with fear and trembling.)

My prayer is that God would speak to and through me...desiring that the words I write and speak be His words and not my own. I am also praying that God would put the people in my path that He wants to hear what He says through me. That said, I pray that you will be blessed by all that you read on this blog. I welcome any comments -- encouragement, advice, even constructive criticism.

Daily pressing in to Him!!

Debbie
