Not really sure what to put here. Life is fun. It's an adventure. It's challenging quite often. But you know, it does beat the alternative. I see great events unfolding in my life. I believe that God is working in my life like I've never allowed Him to do before. Yup...I was the one riding the brake. I've eased up on it and man, oh, man...what a ride this is turning out to be. I feel safe on this ride even not knowing when the next dip or rise may be forthcoming. I just know that I'm not in it alone. Yay for God!

I enjoy all kinds of music. Gospel, contemporary, oldies, Motown, Big Band, crooners, all of it. I love older country...meaning the 70's... you know, the Statler's, Barbara Mandrell, Johnny Duncan, Charlie Rich, so many others! Music that uplifts the name of Jesus. Music that ministers and talks to me about where I have been, where I am now and where I'm going in Him. There is a lot of talent out there! Dang, wish I could sing. ~sigh~ (Well, I can, but I doubt there's a single one of you who'd pay a plug nickel to hear me. That's okay. I fall into the "joyful noise" crowd.)

"To Kill a Mockingbird" is my all time favorite. I enjoy biographies. I study the Bible. Now, that is just fascinating reading material! You know, the folks used as examples for us lived some wild and oft times hair-brained lives! Just goes to show that God's mercies have been in place and solidly working for centuries! Folks aren't doing anything new, per se, just more high tech and faster.

Don't see too much of either of those these days. When I get a chance, I do enjoy light comedies, romantic movies, heart warming stories and classics. I don't like to be scared and sitting on the edge of my seat trying to follow along with a complicated spy/thriller movie is somewhat taxing. I go to the movies just to relax, enjoy and be whisked away for a couple of hours and then brought safely and happily back to the real world. Years ago..okay, well, not THAT many years, when the first Halloween movie came out at the same time the first Superman movie came out, my sister, a friend and I went to go see the Superman movie. It was sold out. So, we saw Halloween..no marquis, just the title of the movie. Small town theater. We were thinking, "Hey, this must be a kid movie or something. Let's go see it." We paid to go in thinking in our naive, Church of God mentality that it would be like a Charlie Brown Halloween show. Yeah, well, since we'd spent a whole $1.50 to get in, we stayed....we kept waiting for the funny part. We were too tight and didn't want to "waste" our money, so we sat through that whole dang movie. My sister wouldn't go outside by herself at night for months after that! We were knuckleheads. :)

Love life. Having fun. Working hard. Enjoying friends and family. Hope to meet more nice people here. If you're not nice, then keep cruising on by. :) The world of cyberness has certainly made this world a much smaller place...cozy even. Who knew even 10 years ago that you could form great friendships with people from states away...even countries away! It's lovely finding so many people who love the Lord, who profess to do so boldly and shine in His love as they minister and work...or as the Word says, "occupy until I come"....we're occupying, yes.
