Psalm 100 of Texas Band consists of 5 members. Ina & Buddy Gore, who founded the group in 1980, Jon Beck, Caleb Frazier and John Abston. The main purpose and desire of the group to minister to the church, to the lost and to the hurting. We are based out of Sulphur Springs, Texas which is located on Interstate 30 between Dallas and Texarkana.
In our travels, we have found that there are so many churches who desire to have singing groups at thier church, but are small in number and located in areas in areas where more well known groups cannot go. We believe that God has equipped us with the means to fill that need.
We host an ongoing Christain Concert each year at the Hopkins County Fall Festival in which we invite anyone who sings or performs christian music to participate. It is not an event that pays the performer anything - just an opportunity to sing for Jesus and let everyone know about their a ministry. It is open for soloist, groups and choirs. 2009 will be the 29th year of the Gospel SongFest.
Psalm 100 and the Joyful Noise Band are available for church concerts, fairs, homecomings or just about any place where christian music is accepted.
Psalm 100's latest project, "The First Song I Sing" was released in October 2007 with 10 songs. Original music on the CD is "My Heart Remembers When", "Let Me Hold You", The First Song I Sing" and "Grave Of Love". We are affiliated with ASCAP, BMI, SGMA of Texas and ICGMA
