One road trip, two stories, and a grand Master plan...
On their road trip from Seattle to Eastern Washington's desert, eighteen-year-old Riley Stemple prompts her mom to tell a story, the family story Kayla's avoided for twenty years...exactly twenty years...to the day. Coincidence...or Master plan?

About Lyn D. Nielsen
Lyn D. Nielsen was born to write. At age two, she loved big rocks and her dog; by eight, she wanted to be a writer; and as a teen, she discovered the desert...all part of a Master plan.

Her heart is in the sage, and while writing Place of Sage, she tripped over plenty of it...but only a few had rattlesnakes. She lives in Washington State with her family and very fine dog.

Two of the questions Lyn gets asked most often are: "Where's the next book? And when's the movie?" Her answer to each: "I'm working on it--thank you for asking!"

It's the third question that's hard for her to answer:

"Is this story true?" (Hint: there are clues in the video.)

We've been together eleven years, two months; and I can't imagine life without him. From the start, he showed interest in my work and spent time in my office. In short order, I knew, we were on to something. When we met, I was a recipe for loneli... (login or sign up to read more)
