The Call to Worship
Music has always been his passion and apart of his life. His mother who is a national gospel recording artist raised him in the industry and in the church. At a very young age, God required a greater level of sacrifice and devotion from Amante. It was then that he realized his calling was peculiar and that his path would be different.

Like most artists Amante grew up singing in the church and in the school choir. He eventually sang background for local & national gospel artists and groups. After serving faithfully God saw fit to bring Amante to the forefront. During this time he began to not only sing under a greater anointing, but to write and play as well. Fresh lyrics and sounds were being released in the corporate worship experience that brought life and healing to all who were there. His adamant love and passion for Christ would soon unite him with believers of other races, faiths, and ages and together they would sing "The Song of the Lord."

The Experience
Amante has been blessed to travel leading praise and worship services and performing live concerts at Cornerstone Church-Pastor Michael Pitts along with Mark Chrionna and Bishop Tudor Bismark, Bishop Noel Jones, Bishop Michael Rogers's, Christian Cultural Center -Rev. A.R. Bernard in Brooklyn, New York, TBN, and in Maui, Hawaii at the Lords Team Ministries -Pastors Rocky and Bobbie LaRocco. In 2004 he sang live for the USA Presidential campaign rally. The event yielded over 18,000 viewers and was aired live on CNN.

In the spring of 2006 Amante Lacey & The Life Worship Band released their first album entitled
"The Scale of Worship." Following the release of the album he joined forces with national gospel artists Jonathan Dunn and Tonya Baker on the Tuned II Worship Tour where he promoted the release of his new album.

Amante resides in Springfield, Ohio with wife, Scharita where they are members of the Greater Grace Temple Church, Senior Pastor Ronald M. Logan. There he serves as the Chief Psalmist of Praise & Worship. He frequently travels to other churches leading praise & worship services and conducting choir and praise team workshops and events.
