My story starts in Kansas. I was born in Wichita, the oldest of two. For as long as I can remember I was always singing. I lived in Wichita until the age of nine then we moved to Mount Hope. I am very blessed to have lived in Mount Hope and feel it was a very pivotal time in my life and had I not moved there when I did, I wouldn't be who I am today. Music has always been my escape. I remember the stories of this naked 2 year old outside of my Grandma's home singing Elvis songs on a picnic table with a stick in my hand for a microphone. My freshmen year at Haven High School I got on stage with 3 other students and performed "Gimme Three Steps" by Lynard Skynard to a full auditorium of fellow students and that was it! I knew what I wanted to do! I truly believe that this is from God. He has given me a gift and I am finally allowing myself to let him use me how he chooses. I can not think of a better way for me to witness to others and show them who my Lord and savior Jesus Christ is! I prayed for God to lead me to find Christian musicians to write and perform music that would bring honor and glory to him. He not only allowed me to meet the guys in Staynlis, but he gave me more than I asked for. He blessed me with this opportunity which has always been a dream of mine. I now reside in Kansas with my wife of 14 years. We have four children. Staynlis has just finished the recording of our EP with the very talented producer/mixer Tony Palacios. Working with Tony and Kenzi Butler was a true blessing. Where do we go from here? God only knows. But I couldn't imagine doing anything else that gives me this much enjoyment! Listen and enjoy!
