2007 GCGMA Band of the Year

REDEEMING RIVER BAND is an Independent Christian Band from Canton, Georgia with a fresh sound. Professional musicians accompany a vocal trio. They are best known for their "family" tight harmonies with the vocals being the core of this group. They are passionate to sing and their first love is for their maker. God has gifted this group and they give Him all the credit. If you hear them once ...you will know.

The 2007 Come Back Tour is behind them and the year was a good one. The band had a full featured article in Oct 2006 in the Cherokee Tribune followed up with a National Release of their first solo to radio. "For Me He Died" landed at numer 63 on the National charts. The 2007 Tour dates included the stage at the GA Racing Hall of Fame, St Mountian, Buckners Music Hall, Six Flags Over Georgia, Alpine Helen Band Shell, Community Centers and Churches. More outdoor venues have been interested in the Redeeming River Band now for their style and ability to deliver. They have a dominant keyboard sound with a clean, christian message that touches everyone's heart.

On November 17th The Redeeming River Band was awarded the honor of "Band of the Year" by the Georgia Country & Gospel Music Association in the category of Traditional Gospel Music and will represent them at the NACAMI Internationl Show in March 2008. There were also awards given to the band for CD of the Year as well as Songwriter of the Year. The Band is thrilled to represent the GCGMA at Nationals next spring.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT
We are a volunteer based, member oriented music outreach with a common goal; to share the love of Jesus Christ; to keep our lives balanced with our relationship to God, our families and each other; to reach out to our community through various methods of media; to offer hope, faith & a little happiness for today; to share our life experiences with those that are lost, wounded or broken; and to accomplish this through our faith based songs, as God provides the journey.
