I, "Nancy Smith"....am simply in love with music. Trying to imagine life without it is a frightening thought for me. I believe I was born to sing, create, teach, absorb, arrange, and direct music. Thus I am a singer, songwriter, but most importantly I am a born again believer! Christ is my all and all, and I am so glad I'm saved!
I'm a resident of Anchorage, Alaska, but I wasn't born here. I'm a Georgia girl, a Georgia PEACH to be exact! I've been here too long though, and desire to move back to the "lower 48's" soon! Alaska has been good to me though. I could not have raised my children in a better place. I'm the proud mother of four BEAUTIFUL grown people! They are my greatest accomplishment and I thank God for them every day! Trey, Ashley, Courtney and Brittany...now to see/learn more about them, go to their pages! I was born to WORSHIP GOD! He saw fit to shower me with many musical gifts, and I use them to the fullest! I love to sing, teach music, write music, arrange music, play music, buy music, listen to music,...if you cut me I'd bleed music! I love all kinds of music, clean music, but my primary choice of music is Gospel. It's who I am. I'm a choir director who believes in teaching sound music that can be understood by God's people!
I believe the lyrics to a song can change a person's life, so it's important that we "ministers" of music be careful what we teach, and what we sing! Everything isn't sound. Yes, the beat is hot, and the singer is ripping, but can you go to the WORD OF GOD and find a scripture to back it up? I won't tell it all on this page, because currently I am working on my own music for my myspace music page...so stay tuned for that!

Pray for me if you're a believer! I desire to be all that God intended for me to be! My destiny is so close I can literally SEE it! The enemy continues and will continue to throw boulders at me to TRY to block my path, but it only makes me stronger! It makes me sing harder, teach harder, write deeper, and PRAY, PRAY, PRAY! I love to travel. I love being a woman. I love taking care of who I am. Ladies, love yourself enough to look in the mirror and be pleased with who God made you to be! Don't leave the house any kind of way! Pet peeve! Sorry...(ask my girls). Finally, I love people, I love to travel, I love to read, and write. I love to laugh, and make people laugh! The Bible says laughter is medicine for your soul! So make somebody smile or laugh today! Thanks for taking time to get to know ME a little better, and when you have time check out my blogs!
