General Interests
Didn't I just say all this somewhere? God and family, writing, reading, singing, piano ... yeah, I know I said this somewhere! Moving right along ...
Music
Southern Gospel. Yeah, baby! And mostly OLD Southern Gospel ... give me the Hinsons, the Hemphills and the Rambos and leave me alone to have a REAL good time.
Books
All-time favorites: Swan Song by Robert McCammon and The Stand by Stephen King.
Movies/TV
Ghost held the #1 spot for a long, long time. (Sniff, sniff!) But then I saw The Notebook. Ah, man! Now I don't know which movie is my favorite! Also enjoyed: 50 First Dates, Pretty Woman, Return to Me (and we thought David Duchovny could only play weird alien stuff!) ... yeah, I guess I like chick flicks, huh?

About Delia Latham
Photobucket

Hello! I'm a Christian writer, a wife and mother, and Nanny to the four cutest little scalawags on the topside of the earth! In addition, I've been specially blessed with three "ready-made" grandchildren when my daughter married their father - and I've recently been "specially blessed" with an adorable little great grandson, as well.

I've very recently transplanted from Bakersfield, California - where I lived most of my life thus far - to Okmulgee, Oklahoma. May I say it's a different world? We have lots of adjusting to do, and we sure do miss our children...and their children...but we do love our new home. Wonder what God has planned for us here?

My historical romance novel, Goldeneyes, was released March 31, 2008, through Vintage Romance Publishing. Praise the Lord! I'm currently working on two follow-up novels, and hope to be able to place them quickly.

I enjoy reading and writing, of course (doesn't every author?), singing, playing piano, word games, and loud, happy family gatherings ... above all, I love God and family - both natural and spiritual. Here's hoping I'll meet a bunch more of the spiritual variety right here on ShoutLife!

My monthly newsletter, The Bookshelf (for Readers and Writers), has been well-received. I'd love for all of you to join my e-mail list (which I guard like a mean junkyard dog)! You can see this month's edition on my website (www.delialatham.com).

When I'm not writing or doing any of the things I already mentioned, I like to design bookmarks for authors, using the cover art from their books. It's a lot of fun, and the designs sometimes turn out so attractive even I am surprised! You can see more of my work on my website, but here's a tiny sample:

The Ultimate Power Cleanser   2/03/2009 - 3:22 PM
Up until a few months ago, I had lived all of my life in California - the Golden State. The land of sunshine. We moved to Oklahoma in September of 2008, and when winter arrived, I quickly discovered I had landed not only in a different state, but a w... (login or sign up to read more)

Writers WRITE!   1/05/2009 - 2:29 PM
Today, I pulled out an article I wrote sometime last year. (I think. I really don't even remember what forum or media it was written for.) I needed a kick in the pants to get me back in writing mode, and while sifting through past articles, blogs, et... (login or sign up to read more)

Haven't seen you around in a while. Hope all is well. You are probably as busy as I am. I haven't been here much myself. Too many other places to be and too many things to do. Hope to see you around soon.
