Hi, and Blessings in the name of Yeshua (Jesus name in Hebrew). My name is Richard Fischer, founder of Mourning Glory Ministries. This ministry is dedicated to the memory of my mother, Joyce Elaine Nystrom Fischer, who died of colon and liver cancer in November of 2003. The purpose for Mourning Glory Ministries, is to fulfill God's call on my life to, "Comfort others with the comfort that I have been comforted with." The Lord has worked in very miraculous ways over the years to bring comfort to me during several very difficult times in my life. One being the loss of my mother, and the other being the tragic events of 9/11/01. On both of these occasions, and others as well, God has shown Himself to be incredibly faithful to me, and it's only fitting to give Him the praise and Glory due His name for the works that He has done in my life. Two trips are in the planning process right now. The first to Jerusalem, Israel to dance in the, "Feast of Tabernacles, celebration with Internationally known dance group, "Benote Tzion, "Daughters of Zion," and to minister to the needs of the people in Israel as the Lord leads. The second trip is to India to minister to the orphans still recovering from the the devastating tsunami now almost 3 years ago.
Long range plans for the years ahead include the following:
1) Ministering in Japan, possibly even dancing and sharing the Gospel at the, "Hiroshima Peace Park"
2) A sponsorship tour to Guatemala with Compassion International.
3} Construction mission to Jamaica to help build a school and community for the deaf.
4) Other trips as the Lord directs and enables.

A Recent Musical Testimony
Though I haven't slept very well or long this evening (the cold I've been dealing with got worse late last evening), I woke up with a vision of a closed violin case. What came to mind is an old Christian song that I haven't heard in some time, which is a story about an auctioneer and an old violin. The auction started out with people only bidding $1.00, $2.00, and $3.00, but then, "the master," came to the front of the auction house, picked up the old worn violin, as well as the bow, and began to play a melody soft and sweet. When the master finished playing, the bidding war increased to $1000.00, $2000.00 and $3000.00. What changed the value of the violin? It was, "The touch of the Master's Hand!"
This is much like faith. If we don't ever take it out of the case, and begin to put our hands to doing what God has spoken to us to do, even if we know little about it, we won't ever learn how to play our, "Faith Instrument." We must exercize our faith muscles, if we ever expect to become strong! Speak (or sing, or dance God's promises to you back to Him in prayer...because, "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God!
This brings to mind how I was given a Davidic Harp before I moved to TN. I'd prayed and prayed for the Lord to give me this harp, and when He did, though there have been seasons where I have been diligent to pick it up and allow the Lord to teach me to play it, since I've been in Virginia working for almost the last two months (there is not much pay available for my current carpentry trade in the area we live in Tennessee), I don't think I've played it once, even though I have it with me. Just a few weeks into my receiving the harp from the Lord however, with much less ability then I have now after six years of sporadic practice, He performed a miracle while I was playing it one day. Well, I guess I need to close now, so I can pick up the gift the Lord has given me, and begin to continue my training. If you are reading this, the Master's Hand is touching you today! He has given you a gift? Whatever it is, and whatever your skill level is, begin to use it for Him, and trust Him for the fruit to come forth. You will eventually reap what you sow!
