Hi Everyone. My name is Mike Lee. I am a Southern Gospel Singer/ Songwriter/ Musician and Promoter from Northeast Alabama. I was riased on Southern Gospel and Bluegrass music, as when I was younger my family had a group they sang in, and traveled with. So I have never been a stranger to music. When I was 15 years old I made my mind up I wanted to do something with music, so I bought my first keyboard, and began playing and writing songs. From that I realized I could sing, so I began useing my talents for God. Several years later, I made the choice I also wanted to learn to play guitar. And through God's help, I did. For a short time I got into country music, and soon realized that wasnt where God Wanted me. Southern Gospel, and spreading his word was my calling, so I came back to my roots. And in 2005 The Lord stepped in, and blessed me with more than I ever dreamed possible with my first award, 2005 Horzion Vocalist of the Year for the ACGMA in Alabama. I knew I was blessed and the Lord had allowed me to win. Without him, I am nothing, but through him, I am everything. Since that time, God has opened many doors for me with my ministry, allowed me to work with some bigger names in Gospel music, become firends with folks I never thought I would, and go places I never thought possible. I have shared my ministry now in Alabama, Tenneessee, Arkansas, And Georgia. I have seen lives touched and changed through the power of God. Nothing I have done could ever do what the power of God Can, so all credit goes to him, and not me.
I am also a Promoter, who loves to help new and upcoming groups and artist with getting thier names out, and coming to our area, and singing in new places. I never charge an artist to help them, its just an out reach through my ministry that God lead me to do, and I feel like its one way of giving back for all God has done for me and helped me. The point of my promotions and Concerts are simple. Spread the message of Christ in songs, to reach the Lost and hurting souls. Thats the only purpose I do these concerts and promotions.
I never charge a price to go sing anywhere. I will sing big churchs, small churchs, revivals, fairs, festivals, benefits, or whatever the need may be. I tell people I will accept a love offer, but it is never required, as I know the Lord will take care of my needs. If you have any questions, I will be glad to answer them, so feel free to ask.
