The greatest influences in Jim and Wendy's lives would have to be there parents. Jim was raised by James W. English Sr. and Anita English of Keystone Heights, Florida. and Wendy's parents Rev. Jerry R. Bussell & Dorothy Bussell, of Rogersville, Tennessee. There parents raised them in the fear and respect for the Lord! To God they give all the praise for having such wonderful God fearing parents.

They have sung in many venues such as TV on Living fait TV, The Manger, The National Quartet Convention Regional Artist Showcases, Theatres, Fairs, Campgrounds, Breaks Intersate Park Sings and churches just to name a few. This wonderful family quartet has placed Jesus Christ first in ALL there lives and in the center of there ministry. God has placed a BIG calling on there lives.
The English Family has had the pleasure of sharing many stages with great artists such as, The Roarks, The Booth Brothers, Eternal Vision, The McDaniels Family, Mike Upright, Tony McGee & New Covenant, John Lanier, Won Heart, Living water trio, Kevin Spencer, The Principles, faith 3 and Jackson Harmony just to name a few.
The English Family Quartet consists of:
JIM ENGLISH- Manger/Preacher/Mechanic/Bus Driver/Bass player/Sax Player vocals include - harmony & lead.
WENDY ENGLISH- Manager/Booking coordinator/Secretary Piano player vocals include - Lead and Alto/Tenor.
LORESSA ENGLISH WILLIS- 19 years old Oldest Daughter of Jim & Wendy English, Wife of Mike Willis plays the mandolin vocals include Tenor/Soprano.
MIKE WILLIS- Husband of Loressa English Willis, Bus Driver/Mechanic/ plays bass, mandolin, piano, dobro and guitar. Vocals include Bass and Lead.
JERRAMY ENGLISH- Middle child age 17 plays drums vocals include baritone.
MEGAN ENGLISH- Youngest daughter age 16 plays mandolin/fiddle vocals include Lead/Tenor
